This is EXACTLY why McCain can't be supported by Republicans. His Global Warming views will strangle the economy of this country. In the last debate, he made this big speech about 'state's rights' when it came to natural resources. He specifically noted California has banned drilling in coastal waters and Louisiana supports drilling. His views were not 'state's oriented' when it came to ANWR though. He has been against ANWR drilling, and now that his fellow lefty envirowackos are pushing to stop drilling in an area with an estimated 15 BILLION barrels of oil, can any sane person doubt that McCain would go along? If ANWR had been opened after 1995 when Clinton put it off limits, we would now be importing at least 1 MILLION LESS BBLS of oil per day from the likes of Hugo Chavez of the Wahhabi Saudi's. We need to runi our economy to save the POLAR BEAR SEAS? Give me a break!! Someone please ask Sen McAmnesty if he supports John Kerry on this.

McCain also campaigned for my (thankfully) former RINO congressman who also opposed drilling in ANWR as well as any form of side drilling under the great lakes. These idiots are all cut from the same cloth.

I'm willing to bet that there are actually MORE polar bears than there used to be.
Polar bears 'thriving as the Arctic warms up'
Pictures of a polar bear floating precariously on a tiny iceberg have become the defining image of global warming but may be misleading, according to a new study.
Polar bear experts said that numbers had increased due to the efforts of conservationists
A survey of the animals' numbers in Canada's eastern Arctic has revealed that they are thriving, not declining, because of mankind's interference in the environment.
"There aren't just a few more bears. There are a hell of a lot more bears," said Mitch Taylor, a polar bear biologist who has spent 20 years studying the animals.
His findings back the claims of Inuit hunters who have long claimed that they were seeing more bears.
In the Davis Strait area, a 140,000-square kilometre region, the polar bear population has grown from 850 in the mid-1980s to 2,100 today...

Democrats don’t want drilling ANYWHERE. The media will never ask them WHERE they would support drilling and the politicians would never give a straight answer anyway, even most of the RINOs.
