Romney has changed his position on a whole lot of issues since deciding to run for president. Why, it seems like just yesterday he was a pro-choice, pro gay, pro gun control, pro amnesty Massachusetts liberal. Thank God he shook all that liberal bilgewater off his back.

Yup, glad Mitt did and saw the light. That kind of change is change for the better. Rather that than John McCain, who comfortably votes and swims in liberal bilgewater to this day.

I’ve changed too. I used to be for George Bush.

Hey I used to be a big lib in my younger days. Grew up among big libs and when Jesse Jackson came to my college campus to march (about lord knows what), I was right there cheering. Today, I’ve spent almost 20-years in the military, served in every military operation since the invasion of Panama and I’m more Conservative than most people I know (in or out of uniform). The point is I don’t have a problem with a man honestly changing his mind on issues or political philosophy. It seems as if Governor Romney’s explanations on his change of heart on issues are genuine, logical and he never runs away from answering questions about them.

Listen Senator McCain’s interviews on the various chat shows and when the McCain/Kennedy amnesty bill comes up he seems p*ssed off or even offended to have to acknowledge that it failed and the American people want no part of amnesty (no matter how you dress it up). The Senator never answers questions about the spirit of the bill in debates and he seems to have nothing but contempt for people who espouse solid Conservatives views.

I salute him for his service, but the Senator will not get my vote if he’s the GOP nominee. Yes he supported the surge, but he has done little else. He does not represent my views and I think he would be an utter disaster as POTUS. I’ll write in a candidate before I cast a vote for John McCain.
