Democratic Sen. Hillary Clinton is losing ground to Sen. Barack Obama in a national CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll released on the eve of critical Super Tuesday presidential primaries and caucuses.
The two are virtually tied in Monday's survey, which shows the New York senator has lost a comfortable national lead she's held for months over Obama and other rivals.
The survey also shows Arizona Sen. John McCain as the clear Republican front-runner.
Obama, who trounced Clinton in January's South Carolina primary, garnered 49 percent of registered Democrats in Monday's poll, while Clinton trailed by just three points, a gap well within the survey's 4.5 percentage point margin of error.
"Coming out of his overwhelming victory in South Carolina and followed quickly by his Kennedy family endorsements, Obama clearly has the momentum in this campaign," said Bill Schneider, CNN's senior political analyst.

Maybe is she were still inevitable, she would pick up the brain-dead "I wanna vote for a winner" vote. But now those idiots are all looking to be a part of the Barack Obama History Making Moment. Without that group, Hillary! has absolutely zero potential for growth.

CNN's "poll of polls" of the Republican race puts McCain at 45 percent compared with 24 percent for Romney.

Then it's official. Two-thirds of Americans are complete morons. The economy still has a positive rate of growth. That means it is, by definition, not in recession.
I feel embarrassed to live in a country where a pollster would even bother to ask the question or that people would bother to answer it, let along answering the question wrong.
Maybe we are transitioning to a situation where people consider the economy to be in “recession” if there is an insufficiently large rate of growth. Kind of like how a 5% increase in Medicare funding can be called a “cut” because it is less than the 7% increase proposed.
Actually we could be in the start of a recession, but won't know for 6 months. Right now there are mixed signals.
I am rooting for Hillary to win. And I almost don’t care who wins on the GOP side. They all are severely flawed but still are better than any Democrat.

Honesty, at this point. If McCain wins, I will vote for the democratic candidate so that the disaster that would ensue under a McCain candidacy wont be charged to the Republicans (who are finished anyway so why do I care?). The same outcome will happen no matter who wins now, the democrats or McCain are the same, and I cannot even look at McCain. Unless Romney wins tomorrow, I’m voting for the democrat, in the end, it’s the wisest thing I can do.
Strangely, I see very few Romney signs, then again, most Republicans have been driven underground in this state. Last time I had a Republican sign in my yard, it lasted two days before somebody ripped it out. So much for tolerance and free speech.

I am kind of numb to the whole process. But I still don’t want a Democrat to win even though I hate most of the populist rhetoric coming from the GOP. I don’t trust any of them, but they will still be better than Clinton/Obama. It is sad that small government conservatives have no where to go, but Hillary/Obama ain’t the answer no matter how tempting it is.
