I believe Rush (The rock band, not Limbaugh) put it best in their song “Freewill”

“If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice”.

If Fred or another palatable Conservative is not on the ballot for the Primary, then I choose not to decide among what are bitter offerings. Indeed there is no choice among the candidates on both sides.

And before the “holier than thous” come in with their “sacred right to vote” meme (which actually means vote for my guy), stow it.

I have lost friends and family who fought for the sacred right, and that sacred right I hold so dear that I will not waste it on a vote for the hell of it.

There is a big difference between indifference or just forgetting to vote and making the conscience decision not to enter the booth and just vote because some one says I have to.

Not to say in the general that I won’t pull the lever for Romney, but I will do so reluctantly if it should come to pass.

As far as Huck or McCain in the General, I refuse to be an accomplice in the further destruction of my once great nation.

I haven’t thought as far as the general yet. Who knows what can happen between now and then.
For now, though, I’m a write in.

A planet of playthings,
We dance on the strings
Of powers we cannot perceive
"The stars aren't aligned,
Or the gods are malign..."
Blame is better to give than receive.

You can choose a ready guide in some celestial voice.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
You can choose from phantom fears and kindness that can kill;
I will choose a path that's clear I will choose freewill.

Thank you for putting that song in my head. It's a great one!
