The damn country is awash in oil. How can they possibly have screwed things up so badly that they are relying on charity from the Chinese?

I heard a lady talk about living in Russia during the Cold War; she said if you saw people lined up at a business, you automatically just got in line, as it was obviously something in short supply. Communism generates unnecessary suffering, even when they’re not shooting people.

Anecdotes like yours and from others who have lived in the former Soviet Union need to be published and come to light!! The truth needs to be told about socialism and communism!!! People just don’t understand the depth of misery these people went through for DECADES!
