I say either cast a vote for Fred if he’s still on the ballot or “None of the above.” The remaining candidates are all degrees of liberal, and are completely offensive to Conservatives. We have nothing to vote for, and we certainly shouldn’t ratify these choices foisted on us by the media. Romney is the identical twin of Ah-nold, only less honest and more destructive as a state leader (frankly, I’m shocked he didn’t endorse him. They’re two liberal peas in a pod).
I thought about voting for Fred, and then I tried to figure how that would play out. Suppose I did... and all the other folks in my district did the same. Fred would get 3 delegates. Will he get enough to become a real player? I don’t believe so. Take it a step further and assume we end up with a brokered convention... Fred has a few delegates to be part of the horsetrading. Where will his delegates go? My bet is they’d go to McCain, the guy he stood beside for years in the Senate and whose positions closely mimicked his own. End game... I’d be voting for McCain, a man I loathe just as much as Arnold.
Both McCain and Huckabee have jumped on the global warming bandwagon, endorsing the criminal cap-and-trade program that will do more to destroy this country than most wars could ever do.
There really aren’t any good choices here—just lesser of evil.
