Boy, posting a new thread is scary. I might get zotted. :) Please make your voice heard, regardless of your voting choice.

Nothing wrong with posting threads.

Without them, the forum would be boring!

If you don’t want John McCain or Hillary Clinton to be President of the United States, the only choice is to vote for Mitt Romney in the GOP primary. Do the best thing for your country.

At this very moment I’m on my way to the polls to follow Melissa’s example. Good luck today Mitt.

Thank you Melissa in Ga, for voting for Romney. I have convinced my Democrat parents to vote for Romney in the Georgia primary today, and my Dad has only voted republican one other time.

As my Dad said, Romney is the only candidate that speaks clearly.

I am here in Georgia in the same boat as Melissa - was going to vote for Fred but while he is still on the ballot he has of course dropped out. My first instinct is to vote my conscience and vote for someone who talks about the things I believe in, my second instinct says vote or the guy who comes closest and could still win.

So today I need to decide between voting for Mitt or Alan Keyes...and while I love the things that Dr. Keyes says and the way he says them I think I need to do the pragmatic thing here and vote for Mitt.

Romney has my vote here in Texas. Let him self fund, toe to toe with Soros and the Dems in the fall.

Do you Georgia voters get any sense that McCain voters may stay home, thinking he’s got it locked?

I hope so.

It really ticks me off that here in NC our primary isn't until May 6th. By then it will be over and my vote against McCain will be useless.

I think the powers that be, need to come up with a rotating primary schedule so that the states that have late primary dates have a chance to cast their votes too. It's not fair IMO.

I hope all of you that get to vote and have your votes actually mean something appreciate that chance, because millions of us don't get that opportunity.

Go Mitt! I heard a caller from Smyrna this morning explain why he was voting for Mitt (4th choice after Hunter, Thompson, Giuliani). Just like me, he said he would not vote for McCain under ANY circumstances.

Mitt is my 4th choice as well, after Santorum (still hoping he'll throw his hat in the ring), Kilgore, and Hunter.

Here in Georgia, I hope Mitt takes it. then we can concentrate on getting rid of McCain collaborators Isakson and Chambliss.

I just voted for Governor Romney.

I live in Cynthia McKinney's old district, so I might be the only Republican voting in my precinct.

I was at the polls in Sugar Hill when they opened. I live in a predominantly white precinct. I was surprised at the black turn out. For awhile, I was the only white voter in line among 30 black voters. To be honest, I did not think our town had this many blacks. There was a lot of chatter about Obama.

If this is any indication of how Ga will vote, I think Hillary is in trouble in here.

Of course, having a primary in black history month does not hurt Obama at all.

BTW- Mitt got my vote.

This is a first..I use AOL...and they are taking a straw vote. They show Mitt with 19 states and McCain 7 states and Huckabee with 1...These AOL polls are always biased to the Dems..Hmmmm fingers crossed here...

Oh yes, all the dropped-out candidates are still on the ballot.

You are 100% correct, Melissa, voting for Fred or Duncan or Huck is a vote helping McCain, so please make your vote count and vote for Mitt Romney!

I wanted Fred but I think Romney has a chance of beating McCain here in GA.

I want McCain beaten as I will NOT vote for him in November.
