A year after that, the Illinois Senate Judiciary Committee, (where Obama served) considered an almost identical state version of the bill. On the Illinois Senate floor,Obama was the only senator to speak against the baby-protecting bill.
He did not want to concede as he explained in a cold-blooded speech on the Illinois Senate floor that these babies, fully outside their mothers wombs, with their hearts beating and lungs heaving, were in fact persons.
Persons, of course, are guaranteed equal protection of the law under the 14th Amendment.
I want Obama to be questioned about this vote every day for the rest of his life.
Thanks!
“To say that Obama is popular among Muslims in Southeast Asia would be an understatement. Almost all Indonesians see Barack Hussein Obama as one of their brethren. His childhood in Indonesia, his Muslim heritage, his Muslim name, his black hair and brown eyes, his opposition to the War in Iraq and his sympathy towards the cause of Muslims around the world convinces Indonesians that Obama is one of their own. For Indonesians it is simple, if he walks like a Muslim and talks like a Muslim, then he is a Muslim.”
Yes, exactly. That is my problem. The perception of the outside world.
“No, you can’t dare, where would you be without special status..”
Bullseye.
That special status, driven by the mythology of white Christian bigotry, is viciously clung to by “minorities” of all types; racial, cultural and religious.
It is a convenient crutch and an excuse for lack of achievement, criminal behavior and overt racist behavior of their own.
ding-ding-ding.
We have a winner.
Tribalism is alive and well in Balkanized America.
And by politicians that wish to exploit that racism.
I agree with your thoughts. I appreciate your note.
Saw a hilarious segment on Hannity and Colmes last night. Frank Lutz had a room full of Democratic voters in one of the super-Tuesday states. Hannity asked them to name a single accomplishment of Obama. Lutz went through them 1 by 1 . . . and not a single one of them could name a single accomplishment by Obama. Someone needs to get that segment up on You Tube. It was the bomb.
“Obama is an empty suit. He has absolutely no qualifications to be POTUS.”
.....yep, that’s the truth....but nobody will say it for fear of getting the Imus treatment.
His election website gives his DOB as Aug 14th 1961.
“But it was left empty following the national uproar which followed the 1968 murder of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King.”
...heh, heh....”national uproar”....is that what they’re calling it these days!....I was around then, and there were full blown RIOTS by blacks in major cities including Washington, DC...the arson, looting, sniper attacks, public drunkeness and rapes went on for days....to this day, parts of some downtowns have never come back....apparently the location of Rev Kinsel’s church is one of those.
Yes, I’m sure HUSSEIN NObomba’s race has nothing to do with the Good Reverend’s passionate endorsement.
None whatsoever.
I think that he’s more likely to be assassinated before the Dem Convention. Hillary would have no reason to do so afterward—unless of course she’s his VP nominee.
Coincidentally, I was fishing around youtube the other night, and I came across a whole series of videos made by a white supremacist talking about the likelihood of assassination of Obama if he were elected President. He wasn’t threatening to do it, but he was talking about the likelihood of it happening. There are a lot of nuts out there.
Of course, every President must face that possibility.
While he is a liberal fool, I don't believe him to be suicidal or insane.
No sane person would ever select Hillary as their VP.

A Christian CANNOT vote for Obama. Voting for Obama is just as good as saying you are OK with murder. It is race and skin color pure and simple.
So, if Obama is defeated, they will blame it on racism.
If Hillary is defeated, some will blame it on sexism.
