West Virginia backroom deal proves it once and for all.

RUSH: A Vote for Huckabee Is a Vote for McCain

Well I’m already cryin’, but McCain will not be rewarded for his treachery.

and McCain is laughing behind Hucks back the whole time.
McCain is using Huck and Huck is so blinded by power hunger that he is going for it. Once McCain gets the nod ...he will be saying Huck who.

How does McCain think he can win in the Fall? Conservatives aren’t going to vote for him. And as for Demc, when you have a choice between Liberal and Liberal-lite, they’ll vote for Liberal every time.

A delegate from West Virginia is on the phone with Sean telling about the McCain camp pulling their delegates into a room and telling them to vote for Huckabee.

Yup, and that is the kind of sh@@ we are dealing with. Some like this crap because all is fair in love and war. What a sad Country we now live in. Unfortunately this is not a game.

McCain is an expert at back room deals, so this doesn't surprise me one bit. I'm sure this will happen today in other states today as well, so maybe McCain will walk away with enough votes to win the nomination tonight.

I will start my search for a third party candidate to support, once this mess is over!

Thanks for the ping.

It was not a foul. The rules were established before hand and every one knew it. It was shrewd, hard core, hard hitting politics...and though most of us do not like these type of political dealings...it is how the game is played.

Rommney will have to deal with and strategize with this out in the open team tagging in mind. I think Romney can still do well today and believe he will yet do better than they expect.

I have had enough of the prick McCain. I have given it a great deal of thought and if McCain is the nominee I will be voting for the Dem in November. I agree with Rush that if the country's going to go down the sewer anyway, let it be on the Dem's watch so we can hopefully get a conservative back in 2012.

Your reply to me is deeply ironic.

Truth hurts, doesn't it.

I don’t know, can you feel it?

You called yourself a nobody. If truth hurts you must be doubled-over in pain.

Yes. This is the sort of behavior that we expect from Dems but not our guys. All you Huckabeans, please remember that you support Huckabee because he’s Conservative. But wait, he is in collusion with the furthest left candidate running. Oh, yeah, Huckabee didn’t govern as a Conservative, he’s just claiming Conservatism to get the Evangelical vote. I guess he lied again.

Yeah, a back room deal that helps both teams! If you win in West Virginia is that a “hollow” victory! Or a “Holler” Victory, like down in the holler!

I don't want McCain to be President, but this sort of backroom deal was considered normal for decades. It's only been recently, when both parties had their candidates comfortably nominated by March, that this sort of stuff went out the window.

I prefer Romney because he's the only legitimate candidate who has both executive and business leadership experience. The others (McCain, Obama, and Monica's ex-boyfriend's wife) are career Senators, with huge egos and no leadership experience.

While we’re at it, I think it’s also time to demand that John McCain, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama withdraw from the race as well, so that any and all obstructions to Mitt Romney be forever and completely removed. Come to think of it, we should just do away with all this election shiite and just ask Sean “Puff Daddy” Hannity who he thinks the new President should be. Think of all the time and money we could save.
