These turnout numbers are fiction when it comes to the general election. If The Evil One wins, a huge number of Obama supporters will stay home. And if Obama wins, a lot of RAT racists will stay home.

It’s hard to get excited about the Repub prospects this go-round, and I’m sure the ‘rats are energized after 8 years of The One Whose Fault Everything Bad Is.

I’m surprised they would use all the graveyard votes in a primary. I guess Hillary’s not taking any chances.

Well it makes sense; there are more illegals here than ever before.

Dems...absolutely shatter previous records

Conservatives are completely hosed. For a whole number of reasons (especially the "No friggin way I'm voting for X") our turn out will be flatter than a pancake. No one's feeling pumped for the "Lesser Than Two Evils" rally cry.

The greater Democrat turnout in "red state" primaries is disturbing. Look at the following statistics for relative turnout (in thousands):

AL: D 534, R 550
AZ: D 368, R 421
AR: D 274, R 200
GA: D 1,041, R 953
MO: D 820; R 585
OK: D 402, R 331
TN: D 613, R 549
UT: D 122, R 283

When a state like Oklahoma, which has not been carried by Democrats since at 1964, has a greater Democrat turnout, it is probable that 2008 will be a poor year for the Republicans.

Not surprised at all. America has shifted left. It has happened. America has decided it wants to be warm and fuzzy. It wants free stuff. It wants everyone to love us. It WANTS BIG GOVERNMENT TO CURE ALL OUR ILLS. Thus, Americans have decided that the ONLY thing that can save us is big government. The Marxist's of the Communist Democratic Party have promised this and they are eating it up with a spoon.

My brother is 68 years old. I love him dearly. However, every time I go to his house, all he talks about is football AND price of gas, price of oil, the costs of medical care, bla bla bla. He complains of everyone making a profit. Complains about the oil companies. Complains about medical coverages, how they are costing him his retirement. Complains about everything that is of free market. He talks on and on and on about how GOVERNMENT has got to FIX it all. That GOVERNMENT HAS TO DO SOMETHING about high gas prices, high food prices, high oil prices, talking about smashing down the big oil companies. My dear brother is no socialist, HOWEVER, he has totally bought into the idea that is pounded into his head daily as he reads his newspaper and watches CNN!!!!!, that GOVERNMENT is the answer. Thus, he eats it up. I don't even bother trying to talk to him about it, I might as well be talking to a brick wall. He will not listen.

I think it is the result of the anti-Obama voters working their darndest to make sure Obama is not the nominee amid a huge black turnout for Obama.

Makes you wonder why it is ok for blacks to vote 90% for Obama without a question about why this isn’t reverse racism.

Has anyone determined how many Republicans voted in the Democrat primary to keep Hillary or Barack from getting the nomination? How many Democrats voted in the Republican primary to get the most Liberal candidate on the GOP ballot? I think this is the unreported story.
