I see Buchanan hasn’t gotten any brighter with age. My goodness, he even thinks Paul Begala is some sort of sage!

McCain is clearly the toughest of the candidates when it comes to the WOT.

HAAAAAA! Oh Paddy you cannot possibly be this much of media whore can you?

You honestly think anyone will believe Mr “Organize the Baker Commission to surrender Iraq to Iran Syria while Closing Gitmo and giving the terrorists the legal protections of the US Constitution” McCain is actually going to fight his close buddy's Ted Kennedy, John Kerry or Russ Feingold on the War, or on anything else, do you?

” “[T]he truth is, [“Today” co-anchor] Meredith [Vieira], it doesn’t matter if we’re in a recession,” Bartiromo said. “We can talk ourselves into a recession, and that seems to be what we’re doing right now and that certainly begets more weakness.”

Some rare words of wisdom spoken by the MSM.

” Buchanan appeared to have been sold on comments from Begala that the economy was really in trouble, despite not having any evidence the economy is in a recession.”

what a sheep!

Closing Gitmo, banning “torture” and giving terrorists rights they are NOT entitled to is clearly not though.

HAAAA! You got to be kidding right? You are not actually falling for the McCain myth are you?

You believe Mr “Organize the Baker Commission to surrender Iraq to Iran Syria while Closing Gitmo and giving the terrorists the legal protections of the US Constitution” McCain is actually going to fight his close buddy's Ted Kennedy, John Kerry or Russ Feingold over the War do you?

Just like on every other Conservative issue. McCain talks tough but his political record shows he plays for the other side.

Is it simply because of the Internet, or is it me, or are people making many more bizarre proclamations than at any other time in recent history?

I prefer someone who does not want to close Gitmo and ban waterboarding. I do not consider McCain strong on the WOT given these policy preferences.

Begala might be a smug little a-hole in need of a beating but our economic situation is deteriorating. I don’t need to wait another 6 months for lagging indicators to tell me that.

As long as Cheney doesn’t walk around in a diaper like Gandhi did, I’m okay with it.

“McCain is clearly the toughest of the candidates when it comes to the WOT.”

Unless of course it comes to getting tough with a jihadi with an American city at stake. Good bye water-boarding, hello mushroom cloud.

We don't torture people (that is a leftist lie) and we won't win the WOT in Cuba.

McCain will carry on the Bush Administration's policies when it comes to the WOT.
