Just as the many Christians who voted for Jimmy Carter simply because he was a professing Christian, now voting for Huckabee gives us another liberal: McCain. Huckabee knows it too.

And if McCain is elected President, just wait until he appoints more David Souters. Warren Rudman, the one who gave us Souter, isn’t McCain’s advisor for nothing.

Mike Reagan for 2012 (or earlier).

And no, I am not in La La land.

Excellent idea.

He carries the Reagan name and is a conservative. We want another Reagan don’t we?

I love the idea. I love that Mike.

I am serious. That is an excellent idea!!!

I had not thought about it.

Mike Reagan for president!!!

All it’s going to take is a SINGLE “senior moment” during a debate or speech and that will be the end of his candidacy. The MSM will frame their incessant reporting of it as being out of concern for his health (etc. etc.) but it will be front page news for weeks.

MCCAIN and huck have been so nasty to Mitt from the getgo, i can’t image anyone making up.
I think they should send mccain for a complete physical and make sure he doesn’t have cancer cells, those melanomas can metastasize for a long time. ugly of me, i am sorry.

I think they will keep their cards close until after the nomination.

You could be right because I don't think they are too happy with “Mr. Perfect” either. That said, making him do something not required of the others is discriminating, and why we have VPs. As long as a person can do the job, his age, and health should not be an issue.

Huck and McCain have some kind of agreement. I don’t know if McCain will honor that agreement once he has what he wants, but clearly Huck will stay in the race just to deny Romney the chance.

One hopes Huckaboob doesn't feel betrayed, when he's stabbed in the back by a man who callously turned his back on his first wife, routinely lies to members of his own party, works to undermine the 1st amendment and colludes with Teddy Kennedy to give away rights and priveleges that AMerican citizens don't enjoy.

Huckabee may think he will be McCain's VP, but I do not believe McCain will do so.

I agree. I think he's more likely to choose someone like Christine Todd Whitman.

God can, and has throughout history, use nonbelievers to do the right thing. Lincoln was not a Christian until shortly before he died, for example.

I believe God’s will is to vote for the person who will do the right thing and who’s got at least a chance to win. Huckabee has had no shot of winning since Florida, and he knows it. Why he stays in to help McCain should make any Christian wonder about him.

Romney’s the only conservative who has had any chance to defeat McCain, though a rather slim one now. But I think many Christians wouldn’t vote for him because he’s Mormon, even though the nation’s founders said there should be no religious test.

It’s the issues that are important. Romney said he would appoint conservative justices. But because of McCain-Feingold, Rudman, and McCain’s comment that Alito is too conservative, I think it’s a much safer bet that McCain would not.

Yeah I know . Mr. Perfect, says... I’m sorry but I would prefer to go by what Mr. Perfect does. Don’t turn this into a religious issue. There has been bashing on both sides. How about if we just stick to issues?

Perhaps. But I believe Liberman is even more likely. That would be like McCain. Maverick, reaching across the aisle and all.

A friend just gave me an idea. We need to have a none of the above choice and if none of the above wins then the ones running would be eliminated and we could start over.

Jeeze, this sounds like Survivor...and all of the folks are jumping right in to play along. Creating alliances, and backstabbing.

Does it occur to anyone that we are ALL being manipulated.

This crap makes the Matrix seem plausible.
