MONKEY POINT, Nicaragua — If the ruling mullahs of the Islamic Republic of Iran were chafing enough about U.S. Navy vessels in the Strait of Hormuz to send speedboats after them last month, they must take some comfort in having projected an equivalent threat in America's own backyard, in this unlikeliest of locales.

What an appropriate place for Iran to plant its flag. Ahmadinnerjacket feels right at home.
What is this, if you plant your flag somewhere you own it? Russia plants theirs under the Arctic, Iran plants theirs in the Nicuraguan jungle...so do we own the moon?? If I plant a flag with my name on it in Tehran can I have the city??
