"His kind persecuted Copernicus and Galileo, too, when theyrevolve around it."

The parallel drawn between the bullying AGW advocates and the supposed flat-earthers' persecution of Copernicus. etc. is common and amusing rhetorical comparison. I am sorry to have to bring up the point that it does have one drawback: its not true.

Mikołaj Kopernik (Copernicus) was a Catholic cleric in good standing with the Church during his lifetime and when he died, having published his great book on the heliocentric solar system, was buried with honors at the Cathedral of Frauenburg.

Nobody in Medieval Europe believed that the earth was flat, as historian Thomas Madden points out in this fine article. As for the Galileo affair, you might get a more accurate historic perspective here.

Other than that, though: good point.

The Canadians should make a better effort to keep the mentally ill off the front pages. It's so embarrassing.

These guys are the Hitlers of the future, and we had better realize that before it’s too late.

you are absolutely correct and they appear to be succeeding...one indicator to track would be the careers of academics who don't ascribe.
