It's up to Conservatives to decide if they want to marginalize themselves, erode what little influence we have in the Republican Party and encourage more MeCain Republicans to support & sponsor liberal legislation.

It's always the Republican establishment, those in public office and those in Big Media that capitulate to Liberal Democrat causes while the Liberals NEVER capitulate, cross the isle to work with Conservative Republicans for The Good of the Country.

If Conservatives vote for MeCain they are voting to marginalize their supposedly core principles.

Good!
Four years in HELL might wake up conservatives and shift the focus of those who claim the remarkable “virtue” of being centrist, or middle of the road.

:::rolls eyes:::

Here it comes. . . the politics of 'fright'.

It is very telling that the case to vote for McCain isn't being made based on his record. Instead, his supporters are trying to stir up fear and/or hate.

We can’t win every election. That’s not how the American political system works. We’re going to lose this one, so we might as well send McCain down with the ship.

Hillary will be the Jimmy Carter of the early 21st century.

We can regroup and find a decent candidate for next time around.

The World didn’t end when Bill Clinton was elected.

In fact, it helped the GOP retake the Congress for the first time in 40 years with a CONSERVTIVE AGENDA.

That same Congress helped with many conservative intitiatives like passing welfare reform.

Hillary will do the same when she beats Mclame.

This is what the republican party wanted they can deal with it. I won’t be scared into voting for someone I find personally repulsive. My wife and I are already looking for ways to protect our assets for a few years, I would suggest others do likewise.

This writer is a moron.

To suggest an entire party change its principles to accomodate a single meglomaniac is beyond anyting passing for reason.

Nothing gets attention like pain.

We need one page of these that are fronts and, one page of these for the backs, that we can print and cut, to fill the prepaid envelopes from the RNC and the ACU.

There will be a price to pay for supporting McCain.

We can vote conservative on Senate and House primary seats, and vote for anyone other than McCain one the Presidential seat, including a democrat in the general election.

McCain is beholden to George Soros since he got so much $ from George. I’ll be voting for Obama this Tuesday in Virginia. So will many other disaffected GOPers. Go Obama!!!

Some are just angry and disappointed now.
After the presidential debates later this year,
many will come to their senses and do the
necessary thing in November.

it might be worth looking at some of the people whose power and influence will be far more potent as a result of such pettiness. To wit:

Don't forget to mention the 20,000,000+ forevermore-'Rat-voting illegals we'll all get merrily rammed down our gullets in Year One of any theoretical Juan McShamnesty presidency. They should count for something too, by golly!

Oh... oh, dear. Did that spoil the narrative, just now?

Oopsie.

Let's take a look at the author's first point. George Soros influence.

John McCain Gets Soros Cash

McCain/Soros by Rabbi Areyh Spero

Soros' "Reform" (an article about Soros‘ instrumental hand in McCain/Feingold)

So who gave Soros influence? Or should I say "sold?"

Not my problem, dude. I'll do a write-in.

I won't vote for an anti-American, anti-Constitution candidate who's a self-absorbed jerk and a shorter, older clone of John Kerry. (I was a POW! That answers EVERYTHING!)

No vote for McCain here.

...such pettiness

This is an arrogant slap in the face.

To label conservatives' objections over John McCain "pettiness" is to label the very Constitution "petty". It is to label some of the very core, to-the-bone conservative principles held most dear by most conservatives to be worth nothing more than an eye-roll and a heavy sigh.

John McCain has been far too willing to negotiate away some of the most precious, core conservative values and loyalties for far too many years.

What he has done means something.

The vile and belittling treatment he has handed some fellow Republicans means something.

The First Amendment means something.

Citizenship in the USA means something.

Loyalty means something.

Unfortunately, the only thing that means something to John McCain is John McCain.
