No, SCOTUS is gone with any of the 3.

Exactly. That would be the only real reason to vote for a candidate you really didn't care for. With that gone, forget it.

A sad day indeed for those of us who once supported him in what was clearly a phony campaign.

Fred endorsed McCain in 2000.

I agree. Picking Fred as a VP would go a long way towards mending fences. But McCain has still burned too many bridges.

Don’t sit out. Please, and not for any of those reasons about a Dem in the White House. Vote for good conservative congressional candidates! If you’re not going to vote for pres, that’s fine, but we can try to get a conservative congress if we can’t have a conservative president.

Damn, I’m starting to sound like one of those political cheerleaders I laugh at.

“Now it’s time for McCain to do the right thing and put Fred on the ticket. (And after the election, Dick Cheney can take McCain hunting).”

I like the way you think.

Gee, since I’m such a moron that I vote for someone because of an endorsement, this will change my mind. Not hardly.

I told someone on FR that I would say they were right when we argued as to whether Fred would do this, if he actually did.

Well, he did.

Realistically, does an endorsement mean squat at the polls?

And who was he supposed to endorse at this point? Hillary?

Here's a crazy thought, how about NO ONE?

I don’t understand how people can just sell themselves. I know, it’s politics, but they’re supposed to have souls!!! What about the fear of God?? Does that NOT exist anymore????? Consequences!!!

Sorry, I’m more upset now than when he dropped out.

Alan Keyes is still in, and his consistency in defending the principles real conservatives care about has never wavered over decades.

Every once in awhile I have to jump in and remind folks here that by pretending that Dr. Keyes doesn’t exist they’re basically mirroring the behavior of the Democrat Media that has been allowed to bring us to this point.

I guess we would have thought of it, if we’d thought of it. lol. Now would be the time for him to do it, I guess, under the guise of party unity and all that.

He didn’t endorse before and I just assumed that he wouldn’t do it at all.

Fred is obviously not the man I thought he was. I’m sorry that I ever even thought of voting for him. I’m glad he left the race.

Ditto that...plus I regret donating hundreds of dollars to that jerk now!
