Four days after John Mellencamps reps asked John McCain to stop playing his songs Our Country and Pink Houses at his rallies, the Republican frontrunners campaign spokesman announced today that Mellencamps songs would no longer be played as McCains rallying cry.
Mellencamp, a noted liberal who was supporting John Edwards, took umbrage with McCain using his music as he traveled from primary state to primary state trying to prove to his party that he is a true conservative.

Fairly ironic that Mellonhead doesn’t want a soulmate like McCain to use his music.
Never understood why anyone would play that simpleton garbage anyway.
Should give some half a clue...to assert that McCain’s as liberal as Shrillary is peculiar to say the least.
It’s how it is with these loons, they can’t accept being partially liberal...it’s 100% or nothing at all.
McCain’s pro-troops...moonbats loathe the military.
One thing’s for sure, he hasn’t been singing MY tune!
I’m offended that McCain would even think of playing Mellencamp’s “music” at campaign events.
What idiot in his campaign thought Mellencamp was a good choice?
Hey Mellonhead, playing your song doesn’t mean he has your endorsement. What a moron!!
LOL! Can’t get enough of your love, baby!
Who needs the music of a village drunk sniveling cootie like Melloncamp anyways?
Mellonhead. I guess "Our Country" is just HIS country.
Other than “I Need a Lover” I never saw how anyone could sit through any of his music.
“Take off that Brassiere my dear!” >Bo)
Maybe Mellencamp should ask Ford to stop using his music in their ads, being a major Corporation and all. Oh wait, they pay him...
Maybe McCain should pay Melankampf the way that evil corporation GM did to use his song for a Chevy commercial.I always love elite socialists who have and make scads of money from the evil capitalists telling us unwashed how to live.
It's starting, you people...just as we all predicted.
I suggest Mexican Radio by Wall of Voodoo.
