'Independent Conservative' Tammy Bruce won't vote for Obama or Hillary
WMAL 630AM - listen Live ^ | 02.09.08 | Perdogg

Tammy Bruce just announced on her radio show that she will not be supporting either Obama or Hillary in the general election. She is not supporting McCain, although she is a fan of John Bolton and appeared to be somewhat assuage by his "endorsement" of McCain.

She took a jab at conservatives who voted for the democrats in 2006, saying that she was amazed how shocked conservatives were when the democrats actually did, or attempted to do, what they said they were going to do.

Tammy Bruce is a nationally syndicated radio host out of KABC in LA. She is the lesbian former head of LA NOW chapter who split with the organization because of thelack of consistency in how they handled the Lewinsky affair.

Last week, she endorsed Obama for the California primary and six months ago she appeared ready to support Rudy Guiliani.

The John Bolton endorsement goes a long way, but I think most Conservatives are concerned about McCain’s domestic policies.

IMHO, Tammy is one of the most respectable left-of-center feminists out there. Although maybe she doesn’t consider herself a feminist anymore - not sure.

You won’t hear the lib media talk about this. They will refer to Tammy Bruce as a conservative Republican.

She calls President Bush a “moderate Democrat who happens to be a man of faith”.

I think being a lesbian, feminist, and a second-amendment practitioner, she has a lot to fear from Islamofascism.

She was, at one point, a fan of Tom Tancredo, Rudy Guiliani, and now John Bolton.

She is somewhat all over the road.

Not sure either, but Tammy sure has set the 'liberal feminist' world on fire with her repudiation of such over the past few years ... maybe she's decided to give God a chance instead of always riding with Satan. Just a guess, thats all.

And all over the carpet too, apparently. :O)

I don’t know, she looks awfully guilty on that particular day. But I’m sure she has some “not guilty” days too. :O)

She said she used to have the hots for Christina Amanpour and wants to touch Celine Dion’s breast, and had an affair with Brenda Benet.

She is likeable, but no one whose opinion influences me one way or the other.

I wonder about my fellow conservatives some times. My problem with most gays is not that they're gay it's that they are generally ultra leftists, in your face with their sexual proclivities, anti-consevative pukes. Who they choose to have sex with is of no concern of mine, just please don't tell me about it.

Tammy Bruce is a common sense woman, a moderate and while not as conservative as me she certainly has gained my respect over the years. But so many of our side seems to want to see her burned at the stake simply becasue she is a lesbian. I don't get it.

I don’t think she does consider herself a feminist any more, well, not in the traditional sense. I doubt if she considers herself left-of-center, either. Altho maybe her ‘label’ has not caught up with her thinking. She supported Bush over Kerry last time.

I love TB, she has great commentary.

Tammy Bruce told the story on her show how she came to be politically conservative. When Ronald Reagan died, a media liberal left a message on her phone answering machine gloating over his passing. She was horrified and realized just how devoid of morality the left was. The experience made her do a “one-eighty” in her own political orientation. Her insights are interesting because for years she was on the left, and knows their tactics well.
