"John McCain was very active and supportive during my confirmation hearings to be the U.S. Ambassador to the UN. His belief in me at that time was a testament to his courage to fight the liberals in the Senate and vigorously advance American interests at the UN.
"I whole-heartedly endorse John McCain for President because when he takes office in January 2009 he will be prepared immediately to lead us. John will not need on the job training.
"American conservatives will have a President they can be proud of in John McCain."

That is well expressed, and it rings true.
I think oldbill is right - it’s an elite group in DC. Secrets that we will never be privy to.
That is why I supported Duncan Hunter - I don’t think he would ever be a part of that stuff.
Bolton endorsing McCain? Either he’s in on the ‘secret handshakes’, or he hasn’t done his homework.
It's not a matter of doing any homework. Bolton knows exactly what McRino is all about....they're on the same team, after all.
Consolidate and rally around McCain.Now. The “powers that be” must feel that the Dems will go all the way to a brokered convention, and settling now for McCain dramatically increases our chances of winning in November.
Bolton is a one issue guy. That explains his position.
Hope so.
hope, McCain may be a pain in the ass and made a big mistake on immigration, but he is a frickin’ patriot who loves this country. We have to defeat Obama in November and the Navy fly boy is going to need the help he can get.
Bolton is a one issue voter, IMHO. McCain fills the bill for him, with regards to the WOT.
it would be worse than the morning after 9-11
McCain is my choice
Bolton’s a good man, and he’s returning a favor.
Also, Bolton’s out of a job, and would like a chance to get back to work. Heavens help us, if McCain ever won the election—which is exceedingly unlikely—then at least we’d be better off to have Bolton working for him.
Still won’t vote for him.
At this point I think Ronaldus Magnus himself could rise from the grave and give his endorsement to McCain and some here would still insist that the full blown marxist, jihadist endorsed, kill the innocent, free the guilty, dims are the better choice.
come on.
Or a third party conservative.
You can vote for a democrat with an “R” after their name if you choose, but, if I have to vote for a liberal, I’d rather it be an honest one. That way, America can blame the rats rather than someone who falsely claims he’s a conservative Republican for how the country will be ruined.
Which is, objectively, a vote for the marxist.
That is a vote for Obama or Hillary then
I refuse to reinforce negative behavior. If the GOP insists on putting up a liberal, they deserve to lose. I won’t vote for a liberal.
Each republican candidate for president in the last six presidential elections (including this one) has been less a republican than the one who preceded him. George Bush is less a Constitutional scholar, and reveres the Constitution and the sovereignty of America, less than did his father. George senior was less of a Constitutional scholar, and revered the Constitution and the sovereignty of America, exponentially less than did Ronald Reagan. And John McCain doesnt know the meaning of reverence for the Constitution, or allegiance to protecting Americas sovereignty. Each time we genuine conservatives support one of these turncoats, we define-down the republican party........
John Bolton is not the only well liked person to come out for McCain.
