Check his voting record over the last 4 years. Last year he was the most liberal voting senator.

I had a feeling Obama would win. On a Friday morning talk show, the state house majority leader, Hannah Pingree said she was supporting Obama.
My gut feeling is that Hillary is losing in Maine because she initially supported or at least voted for the Iraq War-lots of Moonbats up here.

It's very telling of how dems think(or lack thereof), when a candidate makes so much noise, really saying nothing, and wins.

A funny, and at the time scary, point about them.

So when Clinton Inc loses the primaries, do they strike back by hijacking the “Super delegates” or do they go to court to sue to have the Michigan and Florida delegations seated at the Dem convention?

Both, I'm sure - then it's on to Ft. Marcy Park, I'm afraid.

I am one of those who would prefer Obama to HRC as the RAT candidate, but I don't believe for a minute the Xlintons will allow it.

How can you tolerate Hussein when no one knows where he stands on the issues. Reminds me of the Antichrist who pops up out of nowhere and is the favorite for unknown reasons. At least with Clinton we know the outcome.

Yes, he says a lot of words, but, there is no substance to them.

Compared to Hillary anything sounds good. I forced myself to listen to Obama in Virginia last night just to hear what all the fuss was about.

I had to turn it off as it was literally making me sick to my stomach. I didn’t find his oration to be all that great. Or, perhaps I just can’t hear him without listening to the words he says. Get out of Iraq. Tax the “rich”. Universal health care. Education from birth through college. Increase the minimum wage. I’m serious - I had a pit in my stomach.

On the other hand, if he is as effective as President as he has been in the past then not much will get done.

From a related thread...

Obama also leads Clinton in constitutionally unauthorized federal spending in '08.

http://www.nuwireinvestor.com/blogs/investorcentric/2008/02/presidential-candidate-budget-analysis.html
This post (<-click), although addressing a tax related thread, tells how constitutionally clueless federal "leaders" like Obama are foolishly carrying on the 10th A.-ignoring federal spending practices of FDR.

(Anybody who feels inclined to comment about the above post, please do so in this thread.)

The people need to wise up to constitutional flunkies like Obama who foolishly spend our tax dollars based on non-existent federal powers. The people need to quit sitting on their hands and petition spending-happy federal "leaders" like Obama and Clinton, demanding that they resign from their jobs, as opposed to trying to send them to the Oval Office.

How can you tolerate Hussein when no one knows where he stands on the issues.

It's stupidity not to call him by his name.

He's preferable because his opponent is coming to the end of a thirty-year plan to seize power and rule with an iron fist. There are literally thousands of regulators-in-waiting and judges-in-waiting, hand picked by Her Thighness, ready to overturn 220 years of Constitutional government and rule like Stalinists.

I have no illusions about Senator Obama - his ideas are every bit as bad as hers.

But he is not at the head of a revolutionary long-term project with international connections and thousands of ready-to-go commissars. She is.

If Obama is elected, powerful countervailing forces will oppose him and his own inexperience and probable incompetence will limit the damage. The President, alone, is not a dictator.

Hillary's administration-in-waiting is a clear and present danger to the republic. Young Senator Obama, IMO, is not.

my guess is that a dim taking a blue state is in fact a bigger deal than a republican taking the same blue state.

"The sad part is who cares how he sounds when he is to the left of Fat Ted."

Exactly. I am coming to the conclusion that I would prefer a Hillary as president over an Obama. In her we have a known quantity and she is much hated everywhere. Therefore, she wouldn't have much if any "honeymoon" and nothing would get done. That would be good. With Obama, there's nothing there to hate yet and he would have a longer honeymoon and people would be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Not so with Hillary as everything she would say and do would be suspect, and with good reason.
Of course, with any luck, we'll never have to find out, will we?

The only difference between Obama and Clinton is that if Clinton wins the Clinton family will be blessed with $800,000 presidential retirement and two sets of china and the Obama family will be blessed with only $400,000 presidential retirement.

I’d hate to be Hillary’s speech writer. I heard part of her speech in Virginia. The delivery of her written speech was measured and flat. She had some great lines in there, but she failed to deliver them with verve and gusto. Then when she concluded with her own remarks, the sparkle, the animation, the intensity came back. It showed just how much she doesn’t really believe the 90% in the middle, but just says it because that’s what the speechwriter wrote and what the campaign consultant advised.

The more I listen to Mrs. William Jefferson Clinton, the less genuine she sounds.

My apologies Sir. I should say Barack Hussein Obama his true name. I wish more will call him his true name.

Hillary's administration-in-waiting is a clear and present danger to the republic. Young Senator Obama, IMO, is not.

The Clinton years were nothing like you mention. It was bad but nowhere a danger to the Republic. Can't say the same about Barack Hussein Obama.
