One thing that came through is that his age should not be a problem if he consistenly presents himself as he did during that speech.
The hall/theater was likely full of scum-sucking moderate-to-liberal RINO mccain supporting goofballs PLANTED in the crowd by mccain's campaign.
The others merely put up with this RINO, because it was the polite thing to do.

I was there...in the third row center...it was greeted modestly at best, despite the McCaniacs put in strategic spots.
Many folks never stood once, applause was polite but tepid.
McCann folks came around and removed Romney signs from people, with vigor, and two women in the front row who did not stand were told to leave the event mid way through. They did not do so, but it was a scene.

McCain flaps his pandering lips at CPAC and three quarters of the conservatives and all of the Republicans take this first date then go to bed with him and now are married to the idea of a centrist, compromising, leader.
Do you suppose that Rush, Ann, Glenn etc may just be playing hard to get? Have any of you ever played poker? Incisive, inflammatory hyperbole can be a valuable tool, you go to bed with Juan McCain on the first date and you will get no concessions out of him.
There is nothing more that McCain and his sycophants would like (and do expect) is for all of us that fear liberal leadership to fall in, lock step behind him. This is a recipe for disaster for America’s domestic affairs.
McCain has been stabbing us in the back for a long time and the bleeding hasn’t yet stopped. Are we to be just like a bunch of battered women that just go back for more, or should we send the assaulter away until due penance has been rendered.
Some of us are Republicans first but many, like myself, are conservatives first, and Republicans only by association.
McCain may be able to sway, Ann, Rush, Glenn, and I later but Juan will certainly have to make the effort if he wants my vote.
Until McCain makes some very important pledges I will remain married to the idea of writing in Newt in November and that is something for McCain to be mindful of, as I am not alone!
