Getting out the Muslim vote
MSNBC ^ | 2004 | By Kari Huus

With the start of the annual Muslim festival of Eid al Adha on Sunday, drawing thousands of believers from around Washington state to Seattle for prayer, political activists saw an opportunity. A team of volunteers roamed the crowd, or manned booths, signing up those qualified to vote. A major push for Muslim voter registration drive was on at similar gatherings throughout the country.

During 2000 Elections President Bush Promised to do away with Secret Evidence law. after the events of 911 that was no longer possible. Islam on Line promised Bush they would come out in droves which they did if he made that promise. No one is polling muslims but they are polling evangelicals, why?

There were several estimates of Muslims’ numerical strength in the US, which were surprisingly high. They in effect claimed numerical parity with — you guessed it — American Jews. However, IIRC, when closely analyzed, the number of Muslims were overstated in those reports. When their actual numerical strength in a nation of 303 million warrants it, they will show up in polls. There are certainly sectors where Muslim strength is growing, but I would doubt it is more than half of what they claim it to be. Certainly not denying their presence in the US, but the numbers claimed by Muslim groups were inflated.

Because the polls would show the hoi polloi that the Muslims are voting for Obama-lama-ding-dong.

And since we all know what Muslims think of Christians, which Obama-lama-ding-dong pretends to be, the whole "he's not a Muslim" nonsense would be blown out of the water.

I love how some pundits talk of how GW lost the muslim vote in ‘04 after getting so much of it in 2000.
They all fail to mention what any moron should know. They voted for Bush because Gore had a jew on the ticket.

Muslims are true to only one nation, Islam. It is written in their Koran. They will vote Islam, even against United States interests. When do First Amendment rights become treasonous?

Again and again the “peaceful” claiming Muslims in the USA have been asked to cooperate in identifying the terrorists they say they do not condone. Has that EVER happened?

Why? Because their ideologic loyalty is with Islam vs USA national interests. This thrusts the issue of Freedom of Religion in stark conflict with national welfare and public interest.

I don’t want to play fast and free with the Bill of Rights, but some strict constructionists need to deal with these issues. The War on Terror is becoming domestic. We thought it was tough to fight a war in Vietnam where the soldiers merged with civilians. Now that war is next door.

As someone born of a Muslem father, Obama is considered by Muslems to be Muslem, but since he is now a professed Christian, he is therefore worthy of death under Islam. Will Muslems therefore vote for him? If he were to become President, how would the Muslem world view him or treat him.

Well that is what i find disturbing. Bama isnt being pressed by his supporters at all. they just look up in awe like he is elvis or something. Like they are in a trance. Pied Piper obama
I surely wouldnt attend a church whose preacher beliefs were totally diff then mine.
Can you imagine what would happen if one of our republican candidates attended a white supremecy church? and when questioned about it. He just shrugged it off. he said that is his beliefs not his. then what is he doing there?
