As dumb as the DemocRATS are, I cannot imagine that they would be so dumb as to give Hillary the nomination based solely on superdelegates. I think they would realize the damage they would do to their party.
So, I think this analysis is all wet. Whoever leads in pledged delegates will get the nomination.
That seems logical...but, Hillary has been banking on being President for decades. She will do anything to win.
She will get the Florida and Michigan delegates seated.

I disagree. Obamma is a easy mark to prove that he will be the most leftist president ever. Hillary is not. She has only Bubba baggage and it's not enough to turn republicans out for the vote with McCain as the nominee..
With Obamma, they will be more inclined to vote against the man, rather than vote for McCain.
Also, you pointed out that McCain voted against prescription drugs and would lose the older voters, but how do you square that with the fact he won Florida hands down. He took that vote easily away from my candidate Romney who was big on elder care.
All I can tell you, is that I am not likely to be energized unless Obamma were to take the nomination, and that's the truth of it. I am not very worried about Hillary as president, when I feel that we will lose in any case, but when you put Obamma into the equation, things change. That guy scares the hell out of me, and it's mostly a fear that my fellow veterans all share. It will become more evident if he gets the nomination. This I can guarantee you.

The Democrat party as a whole is so weak they will support Clinton ONLY if they are reasonably sure Obama cannot win - Why? Because sadly, most Democrats are deceived quislings who support the Clintons out of fear and not out of love. It was the same for followers of other evil leaders such as Hitler, Stalin, and Mao.
Bill and Hillary Clinton are two long-term criminals who are totally unqualified to have anything to do with the leadership of our great nation. That the Democrat party is even considering her demonstrates how far they have fallen in the last 50 years a party defined by appeasement, weakness, immorality, infanticide, no personal responsibility, nanny state, lying, stealing, and cheating. If these deceived buffoons had the full control of our nation, America would be destroyed within two generations.
Good will ultimately triumph over evil, and make no mistake - the Clintons have been perpetrators of evil for many years. I do not believe she will ever be POTUS.

McCain made a great deal of sense in his speech, and was logical, thoughtful, very sound, and very impressive.
Obama and his orotundly delivered and quite ridiculous platitudes had his audience weeping, laughing, cheering, angry, sad, happy ... he rode them hard and he put'em away wet... and they loved it!
McCain, standing in front of polite, sober, calm, seasoned citizens, had better hope enough people in this country can still read, write, and reason enough to appreciate what he is saying.
Last night, McCain impressed many men like me, who are his age and might know what he's talking about, even though we were prepared to dislike him. But you can't win a national election with those 8 votes!
But if Obama put old McCain in a tough spot last night, he put Mrs. Clinton in a much hotter corner. She is a policy wonk, with a trail of failed policies behind her and all the baggage train of her husband. McCain has a modicum of reality on his side. Mrs. Clinton doesn't.
They can't attack Obamma on issues because they must agree to keep their left flank intact, and they can't take him down personally because they will be framed by the MSM as racist.
Obamma will win this, barring any revelations or mistakes.

Yep. There will be some threshhold, though. Don’t know if it’s 150, 200 delegates or what, but at some point, the “supers” simply will not overturn the “will of the people.” As pathetic as McCain is, the Dems may find a way to hand him this race.
Maybe there isn’t any dirt to dig up on Obama. I don’t know. But knowing the Clintons I expect that whatever there is that has the potential to bring Obama down we will soon be hearing about it. Not from them directly of course but through surrogates - possibly from some of there NAACP lackeys or MSM allies.
If the KKKlintoons had ANY dirt on the Obamas, it would have already hit the fan long ago, well before Super Tuesday’s fiasco. They tried and all they got was some elementary school essay or some such nonsense. Kerry was the most liberal rated senator in 2004. He almost beat Bush, an incumbent, wartime President during good economic times. McCain is far weaker a candidate than Bush and Obama is stronger than Kerry because he brings none of Kerry's baggage.
Hillary will turn out conservatives, many of whom [not me], will hold their noses and vote for McCain. If Obama is the nominee, they won't. I base that on the reaction my newly formed group, Republicans Against Maverick McCain, got during the CPAC conference. Most who signed up said they wouldn't vote for McCain under any circumstance.
Obama is nowhere near as polarizing a figure as Hillary. The very fact that more than half of the Democrats are voting against Hillary versus a candidate with such a weak resume, should be a strong indicator of how polarizing she is. Obama is actually likeable.

I am an immigration activist. I spent four days each in FL and SC driving almost 2000 miles dogging the McCain campaign and protesting his stance on amnesty at almost all of his events. First, McCain did not win Florida "hands down." He won with 36% of the vote narrowly beating Romney with 31% of the vote. In essence, 64% of Reps voted AGAINST McCain.
McCain's margin of victory came from Cuban-American Reps who voted for McCain almost 5 to 1 against Romney in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. Why? The difference between McCain's and Romney's stance on amnesty. It is no secret that the three Cuban-American Rep congressmen endorsed McCain and two out of the three voted [one didn't vote] against the Dec 2005 House enforcement only bill sponsored by Jim Sensenbrenner.
A little vingette: We had panel vans with signs stating "McCain=Amnesty." In most of FL, that was seen as being pejorative against McCain. In South Flordia we had people coming up to the van believing that we were supporting McCain and they asked for bumper stickers and other signs saying the same thing. When we told them that we were against McCain because of amnesty, they gave us a thumbs down.
Re McCain's stance on the Medicare Prescription Drug program, I never heard McCain mention this once during his stump speech, which I can almost recite by heart hearing it so often. I bet most seniors don't even know that. You can bet they will know it in the Fall.

Hillary scares me more than Obama. Bill and Hill actually know how to operate inside the Beltway. They will be much more effective in getting their agenda through. I am also a veteran and don't share your sentiments about Obama. I would like to see the Clintons taken down once and for all. I hate to think of them in the WH for eight more years. That's what scares the hell out of me.
FYI: I started out for Thompson and shifted to Romney. I hope he comes back to run in 2012. I seriously doubt any Rep can win in 2008 following Bush 43.
