I hate to break it to you, but yes, Ireland (land of my Ancestors) is a gonner...One of my best buds over here (and I’m on the Welsh border) laments every time he goes home to Dublin, as he says its gets “worse and worse every week”, and he lives 60 miles outside Dublin! It breaks my heart to think that the beautiful Irish, English, (hell, even our American Southern) accents are going to be replaced in the near future by guttural primitive noises...my sister and I were lucky enough to be in Dublin 3 years ago, and there were “gingers” everywhere (I’m one), however the sighting of a redhead in freakin’ Ireland is getting rarer and rarer! “Ginger” watching is becoming like bird-watching...I must say that I felt “POWER” in Ireland as I had never seen so many folks like me; I freakin’ loved it! My sister “Allegra” was laughing her ass off! She, of course, has the gorgeous combination of really almost black hair and green eyes; she’s my big sis and I Love Her!

As an Irish citizen (US by birth, Irish by law) I had hoped to establish a vacation home there.
Looks like Mexico is a better choice: the beer is cold and the pork plentiful.
