Now that Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain has solidified the likelihood he'll become the 2008 GOP presidential nominee, the inevitable went down this morning: House Republican Leader John Boehner endorsed him.
"John McCain is an American hero and will make an excellent President of the United States," Boehner said at an endorsement appearance with other House GOP leaders. "McCain has a solid conservative record as one of the most vocal opponents of wasteful spending, a staunch defender of America's national security and a strong believer in the sanctity of human life."

In related news, Mike Huckabee endorsed Mike Huckabee.
He is hoping tomorrow to get the endorsement of Janet Huckabee.

I would settle for a mere 2 minutes of intense dislike for you, miss.
McCain has his own record to stand or fall with. - So do you.

McCain probably promised him some time out in AZ to work on that tan of his.
Until McCain addresses his past mistakes and where he intends to take the country, with more than generalities, he won’t have my vote. No matter which elected person endorses him.

Yea! I am for the other team (McCain). Go John! (sorry.. this is for those Go MITT posts that drove me insane).

These endorsements somehow make me think of the line from The Manchurian Candidate : “Raymond Shaw is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I’ve ever known in my life.”

Good one!...I like that part about the “Ann Coulter suicide brigade”.......that’s just what these loony toones are...I think a LOT of us are tired of their “endless drivel”.
To: SoConPubbie
It appears that many Freepers are playing the “hate” card on McCain.
Boring, tiresome, and seems to have resulted form their inability to make a solid case against voting for the most conservative canidate left in the race.
