Maybe the illegals know better than to go to Wyoming and the citizens of WY don’t realize the trouble they are in other states.

Wyoming has a budget session this year.

Anything else must get two thirds vote just to be introduced.

It will have to wait until next year.

I thought Wyoming was a conservative state?

It was politicians voting...not people.

Define “transport”.

If I were a wyoming citizen, I’d be thinking this is a law I don’t need...don’t know any mexicans...don’t drive around any mexicans...don’t know anyone that does know any mexicans or drive them aound...don’t wan’t any cops pulling me over if by chance I should pick up a hitch-hiker that aint american.

So I’d be against it.

Translation: A minority of liberals prevented a needed piece of legislation from being introduced, giving the green light to those who wish to continue to break the law in the state of Wyoming.

I’ve never seen anybody that even remotely resembled an illegal alien in Wyoming. But I’m always there in the winter months, so I guess perhaps there are some agricultural workers that I haven’t ever seen.

Illegal immigration is NOT bad enough there, they don’t care.

The problem I see is that lots of states don’t have lots of immigrant populations so therefore illegal immigration is not as big of an issue as it is in states like CA, AZ, NM, and TX. I know it because my parents live in South Carolina and don’t feel that the public in SC sees illegal immigration as big of an issue as it is in California.

Does it take a 2/3 vote for any bill to be introduced to the WY house, or was this (a) an attempted override of the governor’s veto, (b) does it take a 2/3 vote for felony legislation, (c) was it something on the order of a constitutional amendment, (d) was the House leadership opposed to the introduction (the bill was bottled up in committee or some such) and this was a way to release it, or (e) something else I haven’t thought of?

Yep. You nailed it. Everything is taking a back seat to to Wyomings politicians spending more money this year than they did 2 years ago.

If it isn’t a budget item in a buget year, it normally doesn’t get considered.

If two thirds request it be considered, it will be.

The bill failed by a vote of 30-30. WY has a Dem governor. The House is Rep, 43 to 17.
