Well he is right on abortion except he only says he is againt it and does no real action to end it. He is probably right on taxes, but he is so wrong on Gun control, illegals, cozying up to the liberals like Clinton while treating everyday working conservatives as if they were scum to him.

I really think he doesn’t like middle class to poor conservatives. He thinks of them as the great unwashed while he hangs around with his ivy league crowd.

Thanks for the ping. There are too many liberal blacks who use the race card at every chance. The Rev Al and Je$$e are using the race issue, for their livelihood. Without the race issue, it would like Rush and the Gore bull warming parody about AlGore. “Without this gig, who’d listen to me”.

Wednesday evening, a vacant, boarded up house burned in east Austin and was declared arson. It was next to the NAALCP HQ here and also damaged the church next to it. The local pres of the NAALCP - Nelson Linder - pulled his “race card” on the news.

The news almost reported this as hate crime, even though no mention that the NAALCP asked that the house be boarded up, since it was used as a CRACK HOUSE by the thugs in the area. Not one mention of that little detail in the paper or news reports. If a caller on the local talk radio hadn’t called and mentioned that, no one would have ever known.

And this illustrates the problem with the GOP, and the difference between Reagan and Bush (or McCain).

Reagan would not take the easy road and follow the Beltway CW said regardless of what his advisors said. He would do what he thought was the right thing which is this case would be not to honor a shyster like the Rev. Al.

I’m sick of the race card being used all the time too. I used to work with a mean lady who, whenever she had trouble with anyone would cry “Race”! But it was just because she was mean. LOL. What does the L in NAALCP stand for?

I am tired of the race card as well. I have an employee who refuses to use race as an issue. He is part Native American - Indian - and has been denied a promotion twice within the past year. He says he is "white" on his application, and not one mention of Native American. He could and should use that, but has higher standards.

I concur. The President fails to mention which races this alleged “tension” is between. Perhaps it is between blacks, most of whom have a legitimate right to be here, and hispanics, most of whom DO NOT have a legitimate right to be here.
