Not good. Sounds like Conservative is starting to take on a negative reaction the way the word liberal has. Barkley is outspoken but hardly a liberal. Some of the over-the-top bs that hypocrites in the conservative movement are doing is giving the Dems a chance to redefine conservatives as those who are unaccepting of others while tolerating the Larry Craigs and other pervs who want to be associated with conservativism.

He doesn’t know what he is talking about. Besides, isn’t he judging? It is impossible not to judge unless you have no opinions about anything at all. Final judgment belongs with God, but the truths God has revealed in Scripture are God’s judgments. If Barkley is pro abortion and homosexual marriage, he is disagreeing with God.

Apparently. I would just like to see him participate in one basketball game with this sort of thinking governing it. Just one. No one judge. No rules. No winners or losers. No good or bad players. *Starting* to? Are you kidding? The damage is long done. When Americans hear the word conservative, all they picture anymore are reactionary Christians who spend their lives fretting about other people's bodily functions. Porn, gays, sex, in vitro fertilization, drugs, vaccines, birth control--the government's primary function is to make sure people aren't exposed to any of this icky stuff. Oh, and throw in some anti-science for good measure. That's Conservatism, the new C-word. And people wonder why McCain's kicking ass in the Republican Party? Aiyaiyai.
