I buy the generic Clopilet (Plavix) from India for under $20.00 for a 60 day supply. Buying 60 day name brand Plavix here would cost $270.00.
My wife takes Prilosec. For years we've been waiting for the "Wal-Mart version" of that drug. I don't understand why there are other generic heartburn medications but no generic Prilosec (the patent has expired in the USA). We actually looked into getting drugs from abroad... but she swiftly vetoed that idea.
I can understand saving money on medicine for acid reflux, or allergies, or headaches. If they don't work, you're merely uncomfortable.
If your generic Plavix doesn't work, you're dead. Too risky for me.
