With all due respect, Posner’s book has been deconstructed. He only uses “evidence” that upholds his position that Oswald acted alone.

You should read “Case Opened” the author is the late Harold Weisberg who spent his life trying to get the government to reopen the JFK case.

Many, many, books by private investigators have been written about the Kennedy assassination. The following facts are in the consensus:

Oswald was almost certainly a minor CIA operative working in Russia; Mafia gunmen hired by the CIA to hit Castro were turned on Kennedy; Ruby was up to his eyeballs in Mafia phone record/conversations with Chicago Gianconna family operatives the week before the assassination; Kennedy’s body guards were called off the car’s runners minutes before the shots were fired (see the actual video on the net); Kennedys SS guards were mostly very hungover the day of the assassination, they had been out the night before drinking with the Dallas police at George Senator’s blind pig; Senator was Ruby’s former roommate.

The list goes on and on, not that our national media much cares.

The case for conspiracy involving Johnson, Hoover, and some people in the CIA is overwhelming.

Keep in mind, Kennedy was living a wreckless sexual life by the standards of the early sixties. Some thought him a prime target for blackmail.

Why was the TFX airplane contract given though the plane was inferior to its competitors? Have anything to do with one of JFK’s bedmates having her apartment robbed, only thing taken was her diary.

Again, Posner’s book is a crock.

Posner's book is the truth. Oswald couldn't work for, or with, anybody. He was a pathetic, ignorant, bumbling, self-pitying, big-mouthed, chip-on-the-shoulder, little commie screw-up who wanted to be a BIG MAN in a big way.

Read The Mind of Oswald by Diane Holloway which provides virtually every exising document Oswald wrote, word-for-word, and there are tons of them since he was always whining at the government about something and also left long documents such as the story of his experiences in Russia. The man was a barely literate, self-agrandizing IDIOT; read his own words. He simply was not capable of being part of any conspiracy.

There is simply no serious doubt, anymore, about his guilt, and his alone. The few people who are still cranking about the assasination need to GET OVER IT. It happened essentially just like the Warren Commission said it did. They didn't do a perfect job, no one could, but in the end, they got it right. Give up on this conspiracy nonsense; it's way more than tiresome.

Verses what? Theories and unproven facts? Posners most damning evidence is the Zapruder film itself. Its a frame by frame timeline. The limo shows connelly was not sitting directly to JFK's front, but to the right and lower in a rumble seat. The bullet holes in both JFK and Connellys shirts line up to what the Zapruder shows. I've seen real recreations through ballistic gel that show that not only can the shot be made, but the bullet came out nealy pristine. Problem is that no one will except that one lone nut pulled this off! In damn near 50 years, no one has been ab to prove anything other than the obvious, Oswald did it and did it alone.

I believe you are referring to Ben Bradlee's (the Washington Post editor) sister-in-law who was found dead on the towpath in DC.

Weird stuff.
