The prediction is they will continue to receive an incredible amount of U.S. and EU tax money to prop them up, and they will be encouraged for more land grabs such as in Macedonia where they'd had several skirmishes and where the Albanian and Macedonian population are becoming more divided.

And there will be a continuance of heavy drugs and human trafficking, thieving gangs and white slavery in Europe to send money back to Albanians in the Balkans.

So you will have an Islamic Columbia drug state with severe human rights abuses for non-Albanians - no access to the hospitals, schools, no freedom of movement, rights to their private property and land and so on.

A nasty little monster state overfed by western aid is the prediction.

No, only if one expresses support for American deaths would that be true.

If Russia invades our theatre of operations, U.S. soldiers are likely to get killed.

Any American who advocates a Russian invasion of Kosovo is insane.

The only insanity at play here involve our actions in Europe.

Some in the GOP tried to warn us in the 90s but they turned their energies instead to impeaching the great fornicator himself thus setting the atage for this debacle we see today...a narco state whose open doors welcome more Islamic jihadis.

And how is a belligerent, expansionist Russia humiliating our NATO allies and dominating Europe a good thing for the United States? If the choices are supporting Kosovo's independence or allowing Russia and its client states to bully Europe at will, I say the United States is better off siding with Kosovo.

I think you're missing the point. It is precisely the West's support for Islamic jihadists in the Balkans that is driving the former Soviet satellites back into Russia's "loving" embrace in the first place. If anything, this foolish policy of ours of supporting Muslims in that region is aiding Putin's ambitions.

I am under no delusions that Putin cares about being a "defender of Christians," but given the West's support for Kosovo's separation, in light of the atrocities that have been committed against Christians in that region, that's just how the predominantly Christian nations in Eastern Europe will view him.

And there's also the absurdity of the West supporting the very jihadist Muslims who want to destroy us as opposed to the Christians in that region who share our basic values, but that point is obvious and needs no elaboration...

HAL: Any American who advocates a Russian invasion of Kosovo is insane.

FL: Any American who advocates an independent Jihadist state of Kosovo is an idiot.

How about we advocate a reverse in our government's foolish policy in the region so that neither of those undesirable situations need unfold?

CZECH PRESIDENT VACLAV KLAUS "Some parties in other states could realize that they do not feel completely at ease within a big state in which they are now."

The Czechs should know! I never though I would see the United States be the leader of another Munich style dismemberment of a small European state. Like Chamberlain, our leaders declare this will bring long term peace to the region. Winston Churchill warned 70 years ago that "Britain and France had to choose between war and dishonour. They chose dishonour. They will have war". Sad to say Bush has chosen dishonor.

I pray for the remaining Serbs in Kosovo, especially those isolated in pockets and who are generally moral and good people.
Any posts of attacks against Americans are absurd and posted out of frustration. It is the slavic people who are the most loyal UNITED STATES CITIZENS, who died in huge mind numbing numbers in WWI & WWII to bring the genocidal Europeans to bear for their sins. Whatever faults the serbs and their redneck dumbness of recent history does not obfuscate WWI & WWII acts. The Europeans did what to end WWI & WWII??? the British held their own to their credit, but that was it. For the Europeans to pass any moral judgment at all is a complete and absurd joke on the level of tell a big lie so people will believe it. Looks more like the 3 card monty.

I hope so...

It was wrong to wrench Kosovo away from it’s ancestral owners - the Serbs.

And if the Albanians living there are upset about that... they can move to Albania, for pete’s sake!

I made it my business to check this thing out around 98-99,,, what turns up is that Serbs are the closest thing there is to normal, decent, middle-class people in the region and Albanians are a bunch of savages.

Seems like Putin has a lot friends on this thread. I personally do not agree with our policy, but anybody cheering for Russia to take military action against NATO is a communist traitor.

CC:"Wrong. The Kosovo Parliament has already said it will protect the rights of the Serbian minority"

Well, you know CC, I always thought you were in fact a great Serbophile, and this post of yours proves it. That great big, fat, juicy "O" at the end of "Kosovo" in your post gave the game away.

My hearty congratulations for staying in character as the thick as pig shit Serbophobe for so long. Must've been so difficult.

Post after post, glorifying the KLA for torching Christian churches, allying themselves with Al Qaeda and burning all the minorities out of their homes was some feat, CC.

Ah well, you did well in posing as a KLA supporter and making the KLA look Evil, cruel and well, thick, for so long.

Job well done, CC

Many thanks.

Post after post, glorifying the KLA for torching Christian churches ...

I hereby challenge you to find ONE post where I have EVER "glorified the KLA for torching Christian churches", clown.

Enough of your lies and non-creative insults. Go back to sleep, you haven't got a clue what you're talking about.

It is with some regret, that I see the paradox of Nato intervention causing a bit of the old ad hominem. I trust I am able to make THAT particular point.

The thing is that any Canadian observer of Nato, could have the exact contradiction of it's actions. First, under the Clinton regime and likely the esteemed Hillary (Oh, Bill do it). This was claimed was the impetus to intervene in Kosovo.

Next, the general consensus of support for the Canadian involvement in Afghanistan. I might remark now that after intial support of the Liberal party's Nato support, some naysayers are now at work. The Canadian press has been splendid in support for the Canadians in Afghanistan.

It was bought out by veterans in Canada, that it was the Serbs who fought Nazi power. Here is how the media handled the deliberate bombing of Serb civilians. Switch to affable and urbane Lloyd Robertson- CTV. He said a Canadian bomber had been ordered to drop four bombs on military targets. He said the crew dropped three bombs. They were not sure about the target for the fourth bomb- quoth Lloyd.

Lloyd then said they radioed back to base and lawyers were consulted. Lloyd had a splendid smile on his face. Quoth he:

They did not drop the bomb.

One is caught between two fires here. Support for the armed forces and personel who face "their's not to reason why, their's but to do or die" and the cause itself.
