Where are we in the 75 year countdown when it’s been deemed the timeline for revealing the closed files on the assassination?

It’s Bush’s fault of course.

“Oswald did it...ALONE!”

Strongly agreed.

It really is no longer about that.

It is now about the human phenomenon of believing strange things.

So these things were in some safe which hasn’t been opened in almost 45 years? These items were not reviewed by the Warren Commission? Somebody still knew the combination or had a key or did they blast the safe open?

Curious brains want to know.

A highly suspect transcript? ...

Would that kinda be like when they uncovered the secret broiled chicken Kentucky fried recipe, in and amongst Colonel Sander’s dusty old desk drawer in some hidden compartment?

Doesn’t matter if there was hundreds of plots to kill Kennedy. One man did it on his own.

The conversation is between Ruby and Oswald. They supposedly met at Ruby's nightclub on October 4th, 1963, less than two months before the assassination.

In it, they talked of killing the president because the mafia wanted to get rid of his brother, Attorney General Robert Kennedy.

Who knows what will come out of this, but anyone who lived through the JFK assassination remembers the trauma of it like 9/11.

From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_F._Kennedy_assassination :

The unpublished supporting documents for the Warren Commission Report are due to be released by 2017. The Commission’s unpublished records were initially sealed for 75 years (to 2039) under a general National Archives policy that applied to all federal investigations by the executive branch of government,[62] a period “intended to serve as protection for innocent persons who could otherwise be damaged because of their relationship with participants in the case.”[63]

Sealing of assassination records
All of the Warren Commission’s records were submitted to the National Archives in 1964. The unpublished portion of those records was initially sealed for 75 years (to 2039) under a general National Archives policy that applied to all federal investigations by the executive branch of government,[81] a period “intended to serve as protection for innocent persons who could otherwise be damaged because of their relationship with participants in the case.”[63] The 75-year rule no longer exists, supplanted by the Freedom of Information Act of 1966 and the JFK Records Act of 1992. By 1992, 98% of the Warren Commission records had been released to the public.[82] Six years later, at the conclusion of the Assassination Records Review Board’s work, all Warren Commission records, except those records that contained tax return information, were available to the public with only minor redactions.[83] The remaining Kennedy assassination related documents are scheduled to be released to the public by 2017, twenty-five years after the passage of the JFK Records Act.

Several pieces of evidence and documentation are described to have been lost, cleaned, or missing from the original chain of evidence (e.g., limousine cleaned out at hospital, Connally’s suit dry-cleaned, Oswald’s military intelligence file destroyed in 1973,[84] Connally’s Stetson hat and shirt sleeve gold cufflink missing, etc.)

On May 19, 2044, the 50th anniversary of the death of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, if her last child has died, the Kennedy library will release to the public a 500-page transcript of an oral history about John F. Kennedy given by Mrs. Kennedy before her death in 1994.[citation needed]

[edit] Assassination Records Review Board
The Assassination Records Review Board was not commissioned to make any findings or conclusions. Its purpose was to release documents to the public in order to allow the public to draw its own conclusions. From 1992 until 1998, the Assassination Records Review Board gathered and unsealed about 60,000 documents, consisting of over 4 million pages.[1][2] All remaining documents are to be released by 2017.

(Footnote 62: Vincent Bugliosi, Reclaiming History, endnotes, p. 136-137. The 75-year rule no longer exists, supplanted by the Freedom of Information Act of 1966. All Warren Commission records, with the exception of tax returns, have now been released to the general public, with only minor redactions. )

So allegedly Oswald and Ruby met two months before the assassination, and discussed offing JFK because the Mafia wanted RFK out of being the Attorney General

I thought that Jackie asked for and got a 50 year hold. When did that move to 75 years????

This is like the genital herpes of the conspiracy world. No matter how long it’s been dormant or how many times you think it’s gone away, it flares up once in a while....

This “letter” is probably nonsense. Nevertheless, after having read around a hundred books on the assassination, I remain convinced there was a conspriacy.

Posner’s book “Case Closed” has been severely debunked by a number of authors. Kennedy was living a wreckless personal life in the early sixties (cultural fifties), being blackmailed into supporting the TFX jetfighter, among other things.

When he refused to close the deal on Castro at the Bay of Pigs he was a marked man. I cannot convince you with this post, I know that, if you are intersted you need to do the reading.

One fact new to me I found out just last year: Kenny O’Donnel, JFK’s close personal friend and aid was in the car behind him; O’Donnel told the FBI at Parkland hospital that he was certain some shots came from the front. The FBI told him he was mistaken. He was also told if he kept to that story he would just make trouble for the family.

O’Donnel drank himself to death.

One thing I am quite certain of. JFK wouldn’t touch Obama or Hillary with a 10-foot pole.
