Looks like it could be a very rough night in middle Georgia, especially around Macon and the I-75 corridor north to Atlanta.

It doesn't look as bad as the first, a little more scattered and a lot less red.
It really did rain down here, thunder and lightning, but the only wind was just before the rain started. It kicked up pretty good but it was all straight line wind and just dropped small branches and twigs.
On the other hand, the county paved our street - raising the level substantially - and now all the rain misses the storm drain and shoots straight down our driveway.
Luckily there's a low place in our drive halfway to the house . . . otherwise we would have been shoving the runoff out the door with brooms!

Just got back from my roadtrip to Kowaliga. All is A-OK. No damage. Not a hint of pine in the air (a sure sign when a tornado comes thru).
I rode up to the boat ramp on the north side of the bridge at Hwy 63, my wife took some pictures of the lake, the kids and I skipped some stones on the water, and now we’re back.
Heard Pratville is a mess. Listened on the radio.
We’re just a little north and west of Tallassee. A stone’s throw from Johnny G’s and the giant steel hog!
Thanks for checking. Yes, Prattville has some major damage. WSFA has some good info on their site. Of course, you can watch it directly where you are.
That's well to the south of Atlanta metro -- most of the line has slipped to the east.
Oh, my! We’re closer neighbors than I thought. I live just over the bridge in East Tallassee. Born and raised here.
...and yeah, that hog is something else at Christmas with all the lights. ; )
My grandma told me about the Gainesville tornado. I was in the 1993 Good Friday tornado that hit Douglasville and Austell.
Friends of ours in Douglasville were in that one too. Where we're living now, anything that hits Douglasville & Austell hits us too, but we weren't living there then.
Thanks for the info...looks like we are getting the storms today!!!
Looks like we are all pretty close to each other. We have family all along the southern edge of the lake and in the city of Dadeville.
Prayers for protection on the way for all in its path.
Of course, if an F-5 strikes in an open plain, no one will know it’s an F-5... grasshopper...
