Reporting in from northeastern Elmore county. It’s just to the north of me now, about 10 miles. It’s a miss, but I’ve got lots of friends up there....

Heavy damage reported in from Pratville, Alabama. The front of the Office Depot has been torn off. Cars turned upside down at a nextdoor parking lot. A heavy business area...

I am keeping an eye out around Lake Martin.

We can’t reach family. Power is on though since the answering machine is still working.

Where is County Road 143 in Elmore County?

Tornado is on the ground.

I am familiar with the Kowaliga area of the Lake on Hwy. 63.

LOL! We haven't GOT a basement! This house is built on a crawlspace, which is the worst of all possible worlds (more likely to collapse in a direct hit).

We all get in to the closet under the stairs in the central hallway if things get bad.

It is pouring bathtubs and buckets here right now. Wind was kicking up hard earlier as the rain blew in, but just light movement right now. Some thunder but fairly distant.

I just spent 4 days on a Red Cross Erv (emergency response vehicle) that responded to the Tennesse tornados from Opelika Al. Looks like they are under the gun now!

We had bad weather coming a few days ago. I left work early because hail reported. We had to move stuff in the garage and then get 2 dodge Rams in. The sky was dark and the wind was howling. It went right around us. Not even a sprinkle. Hopefully this storm will miss yall too and just blow it’s self out with no damage to anyone.

Looks like the Bass Pro Shop was in the line of fire.

I see where CR143 is now, south out of Millbrook.

Looks like the storm is weakening.
