Bush 41, no one else, lost the election when he abandoned the conservative base and reached across the aisle and worked with Democrats to raise taxes and sign gun control.

The good news is that even Republicans are capable of learning. Since Bush 41's blunder and handing over the presidency to an Arkansas grifter, it's almost unheard of for a Republican candidate to espouse raising taxes or signing gun control.

In November of this year the Republican leadership will most likely learn some new lessons.

Bush I never had those votes to begin with. Perot got the votes he got because of his message. If there had been no Perot, those voters would have voted for some other 3rd party or stayed home. You have no proof that conservatives "helped" Bubba win in 1992.

Yeah, and we should just elect anyone that has an "R" next to their name. Look how that happened in California, you guys whined that Schwarzenegger was the best choice and now he's run the state and the party totally into the ground. Good conservatives like Hunter, Tancredo, Fred Thompson, and especially Ron Paul were all given the shaft by the GOP establishment while they kissed up to Rudy McRomney.

You and the GOP are in for another round of learning the lesson you ignored in the past. Losers always blame someone or something else rather than face the reality that they own the lose.

You see the clintons and the dems do it all the time.

Then, of course there are dimwits like yourself that have never had a clear thought in there heads long enough not to compromise any shred of basic belief in anything except a political party that would dump it's supporters in a blind rush to obscurity.

I voted for Perot twice because the GOP did not put up a candidate worth supporting. Now I will either write in or not vote for anyone for President for the same reason.
