I honestly don’t believe that the average rank-and-file Democrat is ready to vote for a black man.

Can’t wait to say one of two things: 1. Democrats weren’t ready elect a black man. or 2. Democrats weren’t ready to elect a woman.

Your error is you think being an evil conniving bee-otch is a strength, when it is transparently a flaming weakness and the reason she is crashing in flames. Watch and learn, grasshopper. She is going to lose, Obama takes it in a walk, she can whine and moan and threaten all she likes, it won't make a dime's difference.

And Bill Clinton -- who knew? -- has proved to be a negative. This guy must be stupid.....Who knew????
The ONLY reason Billy won was Perot (twice). In most instances, he has been a negative.
I'm afraid OsamaObama will win the "Rat Race" (trademark unless someone else can lay earlier claim) and the WH (since a lot of people on our side cannot stand McCain). I can't stand him either, but I have to vote against the Rats.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
But she has a card file of 'favors owed' going back to Mena Airport.
Remember what happened to Barry Seal?

Can’t wait to say both of these things: 1. Americans weren’t ready to elect THIS “black” man and 2. Americans weren’t to elect THIS woman.

[And it may be the same in November if Obama loses in a close election.]
Agree. We are talking about a bloc that is notoriously susceptible to rumors and conspiracy theories.

Although Obama and Clinton say the same things, it is how they say it that will count.
Barack gives 'em fever, or better stated, a fervor of hope, a new vital virile voice. He brings the people onto the stage with him all the way to the White House.
Clinton gives 'em a headache. Shrill, screeching, icy cold stares, stagnant and lumbering, petulant and viciously pugnacious. In her arrogance she feels entitled to destroy her opponents in order to achieve her nefarious goals. It is not about us. She tells us we are nothing without her. I agree with Rush. She who will not be denied her megalomanical ambition.

I agree Perot made a real difference.
I saw Perot supporters with signs on corners and they all looked like they had baths, clean hair and could balance a checkbook so my guess was that he, Perot, took votes from R not D.
But that is just a guess....

Race trumps gender, bigtime in the democratic party (this has got to be be just KILLING the Clintons beause when you get right down to it, they CAN'T do ANYTHING about the race versus gender dynamics of this race for the nomination, and the press is also no longer giving them their accustomed free ride).
If Obama shows up at the convention with more won delegates than Hillary, the superdelegates will not dare hand the nomination to Hillary. The democratic party typically needs to max out the black vote to win. They cannot afford to alienate black voters with an elitist handover of the nomination to Hillary if Obama is ahead in won delegates. The possibility of significant "unrest" if they were to do so is also very real, and would doom a Hillary candidacy.

Open primary. May just mean Barry Obama will win it on cross over Republican voters. They can do that in Texas in the primary two (2) times!!!

Mark this post.
I’ll donate $500.00 of my hard earned dollars to Free Republic if Hillary loses the Democrat nomination.
I’ll do that as soon as the DNC announces its candidate this Summer, on that day.
There is no way that Barak wins this thing with the corrupt Democrat Party operatives at work.
If I lose, it will be money well spent.

I expect the Clintons to win the nomination though I wouldn’t be terribly surprised if Obama gets nominated after a deal to make the Clintons VP. That would give the Clintons the Presidency at a time of their choosing in the following couple of years.
