It's a beautiful thing. P> It IS such a beautiful thing. Absolutely juicy.

And I think that Hillary will steal the election.

Dick Morris was on Hannity today and made a good point. Klinton is the type who would take all the GWOT programs in place and turn them on her enemies and Republicans.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see her end up in a full out convention floor fight, tear gas, clubbing's, chairs being thrown, etc... (metaphorically speaking of course) but she has had access to power too long and is not bashful about using it.

And look who the military -industrial dudes have been throwing money at. Last time I checked, she was receiving big defense bucks at a 3 to 1 ratio. And Wall Street loves her, both free trade and open borders and her socialized medicine will help the bottom lines of every corporation. Believe me, they want her.

And I'll repeat it again, anyone who is a threat to her or the Slickmeister ...................

So while I agree with everything in your post and would love to see the house from Kansas fall on her, be prepared for "Madame President" in '09

Sometimes I think Rush needs to retire. He’s wrong. It’s over for Hillary. Oh she won’t go nicely. But it’s over nonetheless.

An offer HE can’t refuse? ROTFLMAO She is in no position to offer anything. The thing is, even if she wins, she loses. Even if she managed to get nominated (and she won’t) they’ll put McCain in the WH just for spite.

It’s over for Hillary.

It is sheer fantasy, she has no power.

She has as much power as people are willing to believe she has.

The Kennedy faction/Obama and the media are burying her...she's already up to her neck. She must be well aware they are all colluding to throw the vote to Obama. The word on the street--from the rank and file Democrats--they don't like her, they don't trust her, they are sick of her and her blackmail/corruption. Bill was able to get away with a lot because he was liked. She is not liked.

The fact that she hasn't dropped dead yet proves that God is merciful.

Do you know why she is only behind only 100+ when O won 9 in a row?

BTW, your post is ‘good news’.

They have to make it look like she has a fighting chance, so when she's thumped, she's dumped. It's all smoke, mirrors and performance for the masses.

When you have delegates like Alcee Hastings backing Obama, it's not looking that great for Hillary. It would serve her right, if the super-delegates lie to her face and lead her to believe she has it in the bag--but when it comes to the final count, Obama gets it.

It's coming down to the Clintons or the Dem Party itself and it looks like the Dem Party will win this time.

I am a Republican and I would vote for the right black man, but not Obama I think he is a suspect muzzie. He looks more like a cult leader all the time to me.

Nice graphic, Phil!

While I agree that she is easily compared to the Hindenburg blimp, I’m going to take a wait and see attitude.

She’s as slick as they come, and has been known to cause things to happen.

To paraphrase Rush, I won’t believe she’s defeated until a house falls on her head, and her feet roll up. ;o)

Look, it isn't involved, inside baseball, collusion, anything complicated. Obama is clobbering her by 10-15 points in every competitive state. McCain beats her in head to head polls by 5 points in every important state, while Obama beats him by that much. The Dems would have to be brain dead to pick her over Obama, and they simply aren't. You are right about why, that she isn't liked. But the mechanism is simple - she loses the actual votes, and that matters, nothing else really does.

Obama problem is not that he is muslim, he isn't, he is a sincere Christian of a typical mainline left leaning type. His problem is that he wants to raise taxes (by 15% on self employed business owners, that is what his social security cap lifting will amount to), and he is a pacifist who wants to surrender his way out of any and every war, and he wants to spend a trillion on foreign aid to the developing world, etc. Those are reasons the left loves him, since it is pacifist and tax-and-spend socialist. They are lousy policies and perfectly sufficient for anyone with a brain to vote against him.

Super Ds aren't going to vote to lose the general when they can win it in a walk with a more popular candidate. It is really dirt simple, she is a lousy candidate to put up for the general and Obama isn't.

The way the delegates are selected, the “proportional” selection method calculated by the democrats makes the delegate proportions very close (and confusing) unless one candidate blows out all the rest all across a state.

What would be huge victories in a national election, 5-6 points result in only a small difference in delegates. Sometimes it can seem reversed.

For example, Hillary won the popular vote in Nevada, Obama won more delegates.

I should also add an interesting quick that affects this.

Delegates are apportioned to districts proportionate with their previous presidential vote/turnout.

So you could win a large district, your opponent win a small district and your opponent gets more delegates.

This is part of the equation in Texas now. Hispanic areas, Hillary’s strength, are apportioned smaller number of delegates per vote. Urban areas, Obama’s strength, are apportioned more.

You will also note that often Hillary’s count of the delegates she has won varies with Obama’s count. And in news stories you’ll see such things as “According to CNN’s count, Obama has 455 delegates..”

It’s quite a confusing mess. Which, if you’re inclined, you could think works to Hillary’s advantage with backroom muscle.
