I always think of that when I read about Mulims hatred for man’s best friend.
I have read that the lashes are usually given in batches over time. However, the sentence is usually in the hundreds and normally the offender is younger; so 30 lashes could possibly be given at once...
I know I’ve got two dogs now and probably a third or fourth waiting for me when I get to the rainbow bridge to help me find the way into Heaven. I’ll have two dachsunds, a mutt, and a blue heeler at the very least.
Look at the other side. They do harm to women for the same innocent behavior. This is the first time I have heard of a man being the victim of the religion of peace.

70 lashes for walking his dogs... my goodness they would execute my family for ...sharing ice cream cones, letting our poochie hog the couch, buying our doggie a coat and various other crimes against public order.

THANK GOD I live in the United States, where I can leave my house and walk my beautiful collie on the national park next door to our house, and then come home and watch TV with my husband, my 3 cats, my collie and my poodle-mix, everyody in bed (the collie on the floor because she is too big to fit) all in front of the big screen TV... An update to the story. I heard that the sentence was reduced to just 2 months and 15 lashes for good behavior. Turns out that in between trial and sentencing the perp had female circumcision performed on both his granddaughters.
