Oh, McCain’s MSM “friends” have already begun their attack. But that said, NO Republican candidate would have avoided that. It’s SOP.
A vote against McCain is a vote for Hillary or Obama. Get a grip.
I agree, if anything comes out to corroborate the affair allegation, then McCain is absolutely finished. I imagine the same GOP establishment that has rallied around him would force him to step aside.
That being said, I find it hard to believe that McCain would risk flushing his honorable record of service to the country down the toilet in such a fashion. At his press conference today, that is essentially what he put on the line.
Get me a list of soulless international corporatized monopolies that owe their allegiance to anyone but US interests and I will give you the couple on that nationalized list in Russia.
The NYT would love nothing more than for Huckabee to get the GOP nomination.
A vote against John McCain is a vote against our troops.
A vote against John McCain is a vote against the GOP.
A vote against John McCain is a vote for surrender.
“A vote against John McCain is a vote for defeat.
A vote against John McCain is a vote for al Qaeda.
A vote against John McCain is a vote for Hillary Obama.
A vote against John McCain is a vote for Iranian nukes.
A vote against John McCain is a vote for the destruction of Israel.
A vote against John McCAin is a vote for the rebirth of the Soviet Empire.
A vote against John McCain is a vote for the destruction of America..”
But..But...cou would could a neat bumper sticker on your car that says: “Don’t blame ME, I didn’t vote.”
Good NY Slimes article for a change..You do get a sense of the venom Weaver has for Davis and how this has split McCain’s inner circle..The article says that Weaver was a renegade and thought nothing about going against the establishment..That is why McCain liked him and kept him, a man after his own heart..
McCain should take a good lesson from this: learn who his real friends are and dump the renegades and second guessers..He isn’t going to pick up any Conservative votes by tweaking the conservatives. He needs to get with the program and if he has more idiots around him he needs to get rid of them too.
Mccain like so many people do not see the Conservatives as wanting change..He thinks it is stagnant, just more of the same..Boy is he wrong!..There are plenty of things that need changing in this country and conservatism is a blend of political change while retaining the good values that Americans have..If he wants activism and progress there are many avenues to explore...just a word of advice to McCain: REAGAN
LOL!!
The Repub just Bite off you nose to spite your face strategy. Its makes the non stop dismantling of America by Comrades Obama/Michele all the more easier to put up with for eight years !
A vote for either McCain, Obama, or Hillary Clinton for POTUS is also a vote for the destruction of America, thanks to all of them truly agreeing to: 1.) the present campaign finance reform system that’s truly against free speech and will lead to the eventual full implementation of the Fairness Doctrine (No more conservative talk radio, no more Free Republic, etc.); 2.) the belief in the sham known as man-made global warming which will eventually truly create a finite number of economic problems including, but not limited to, unnecessary taxes and unnecessary regulations; and, 3.) allow amnesty for illegal immigrants to truly occur “to the max” all over the U.S. forever as well as eventually creating legislation which will legally allow illegal immigrants the right to vote in all future U.S. elections! There is also plenty of other problems that are also truly heading this country’s way that I won’t even mention here. All conservative voters are now supposed to just forget about all of this upcoming long-term “damage” that’s truly coming this way while also fully supporting and fully voting for McCain on November 4? Good luck!
Take a quick look at the articles I posted about Weaver here:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1974095/posts
It’s clear that Weaver is the “democrat” alter ego of McCain. Weaver even changed his political affiliation from Repub to Dem — it’s no secret.
I suspect Weaver has just gotten into the habit of talking all the time, and about too much, to the MSM, who McCain has of coure assiduously courted.
I suspect Weaver told mostly the truth, maybe with a touch of self-aggrandizement salted on top.
Now yes, and a will comb to FR, for you...
Seems like Weaver may have been McCain's Democrat alter ego. In such a case, I'm glad he's gone.
McCain has gone after Republicans and conservatives much harder than his response to the NYTimes. I will not vote for him or huckster.

IOW, get tested for Alzheimer's.
“The Repub just Bite off you nose to spite your face strategy.”
Exactly. I’ll keep my nose, even if I have to hold it to vote for McCain.
Oh cripes. This thing from 9 years ago? The times only investigates Republicans, doncha know?
