I think the media does want to set him off.
I suspect the NY Slime hit was more a
counter attack for Obama since McCain has come out swinging him. Obama could not survive combined Clinton / McCain attack.
I think he can win .He may not win the popular vote but the electoral college
The Dems have moved into the far left territory.
My in-laws are old time Dems and they are scare off by Obama . They know he will take away there Medicare benefits and screw up there Doctors.They plan to vote for McCain if they have to. I think that crowd would put McCain over the top.

I don't have a link right now, but I've read on KOS that there are libs who are planning to vote for McCain.

Apparently, if their "guy" loses the nomination (it works for both parties), they will vote for McCain.

I DO hope McCain wins. But it doesn’t look good unless he does a bang-up job of revealing Obama’s complete unpreparedness for the job and Obama’s far left agenda.
