The RPI arts department has apparently gone off the deep end. Of course, they'll say, "well, this isn't OUR opinion, just the speaker's." Suuuuure. I wonder what they'll do when McCain wins and they have to go on even longer without the massive Federal programs big-bad-Bush won't give them.

having recently gone back to college after many years, I can't say I'm surprised. The "university" model is a top-down beaurocrat's dream. I say about the school I attend, "no matter Eastern bloc immigrants are so at home here.
