A talented artist hanged herself because she was overcome with grief after aborting her twins, an inquest heard yesterday. Emma Beck, 30, left a note saying: "Living is hell for me. I should never have had an abortion.
"I see now I would have been a good mum. I told everyone I didn't want to do it, even at the hospital."
"I was frightened, now it is too late. I died when my babies died.
"I want to be with my babies - they need me, no one else does."
Yesterday an inquest heard that in the run-up to the termination Miss Beck discussed it with her GP, who described her as "extremely vulnerable". She missed one hospital appointment and cancelled another before finally seeing a doctor at Treliske hospital in Truro, Cornwall.
But the counsellor at the unplanned pregnancy clinic was on holiday, so the doctor gave her the number of a "telephone pregnancy counselling service". Eight days later, in September 2006, the same doctor performed the termination.
In February the following year, the night before her 31st birthday, Miss Beck hanged herself at her home in Helston.
Horrible story...

So very very tragic both for the babies and for this young woman....
They never warn women of the emotional/mental/spriritual damage abortion does to them....
Yet those who are “prochoice” NEVER ACKNOWLEDGE THE TERRIBLE HARM DONE TO THE MOTHER by abortion.....NEVER.

ok. There were some pretty thoughtful, and not so thoughtful, comments there. You might like to read them. Lots of suffering is being ignored by the “professionals.”

May God have Mercy on her as she was not of right mind when she committed the final act...Reading this you can feel real remorse and love for her twins...Poor dear mom...

This unfortunate young woman had serious psychological problems long before she had an abortion, and those problems were most likely what caused her to have an abortion she didn’t want just because her boyfriend said he didn’t want the babies. And also most likely what caused her to take up with such a self-centered young man in the first place.
Very sad. Prayers for her & her twins.
I had a natural miscarriage many years ago, and it devastated me. I heard a baby crying (in my sleep) every night for years. And I couldn’t do a thing to comfort that child; I couldn’t feed him, rock him, sing to him, or even hold him. I cannot understand how a woman could deliberately chose to abort a life within her.
