There is nothing, in my opinion, more despicable than the man who makes his fortune from the ruination of his country. Just when you think the ash heap of history had settled, up from the putrid ashes comes media had been and red lover Phil Donohue producing more fodder and agitprop for the victims of Bush derangement syndrome. The evils of liberalism know no boundaries. It appears that old "light in the loafers" Phil is directing another anti-Bush, anti-survival hit piece exploiting a disgruntled war hero who became paralyzed upon arriving in Iraq. It is passed time that we unite against America's yellow bellied billionaire Bolsheviks and hit them in their religion, the pocket book. I don't care about the sentimental emotional attachment you may have for the counter cultural tunes by any one of the proven anti-Americans involved. They should not profit in dollar or fame for their sedition. HOW DARE CANADIAN NEIL YOUNG continue lecturing the men who spilled their blood so he could keep mountains of ticket and record sales revenue rolling in to keep his own castles from burning. In a better America these feckless cowards would have faced swift and convincing street justice for their giving aid & comfort and probably directly or indirectly funding to the global Marxist enemies of democracy. DON'T BUY THEIR JUNK! NOT ONE PENNY! Are you part of the solution or part of the problem? "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men (Freepers) do (say) nothing." I won’t allow you to defame pigs to such a low level as to compare them with these hellions.

You know, I just can’t get worked up about this. This documentary & soundtrack will only appeal to those with B.D.S. already. Celebrity critters can’t seem to get it through there meager little brains that the world is different & they are irrelevant.

This is the last gasp of the anti war jerks who want Iraq to be another Vietnam. Its a shame that Tomas Young allowed himself to be sucked in and exploited by the Cindy Sheehan crowd.

I’m surprised Willie Nelson has joined in the big circle jerk. I’m a Canadian and I grew up enjoying Neil Young, even played his music in a tribute band. But Neil is next to brain dead now and Springsteen was always a communist. Pearl Jam had three good songs and gave up the grunge ghost for a slow descent into anonymity. Aside from the obvious exploitation angle, the only people that will buy this crap are other crappy people. Bush beat their asses for eight years (while protecting them from terrorists) and this is just a testament to their glowing idiocy, ingratitude and ineffectiveness.

Very well said. It is grand and poetic justice that President Bush has had all the forces of hell cast upon him by foreign and domestic enemies. He is still the mild mannered, decent guy who loves his God and his family, goes to bed beside the love of his life every night at 9:30. I am convinced that BDS is a symptom of two essential underlying diseases. (Aside from the fact that it has been established that liberalism is a dangerous, narcissistic mental disorder.) The two things about President Bush that provoke such irrational, undeserved, bitter, rancorous, and violent hatred of him are these: 1) He simply and humbly professes a faith in a power higher than himself, (Jesus) and He supports the peoples from when Jesus comes. (Israelites) Test my theory. The results are astonishing. Pray for all those whose religion is hatred. “Opium is the religion of the elite” binstence

She is an unconscionable narcissist. What a shimmering chunk of fool’s gold is Ms. Sheehan. The power of prayer is the very best antidote to her demonic cruelty. Thank God for America where I can celebrate her right to be so wrong.

Waaaaaaaaaaay back when I was a [stupid teenage] Springsteen fan back in the early 70s, [before he hit it big] I had a magazine with a very long interview of him.
He bragged about his plans to dodge the VN draft by either going in for his interview wearing a dress or professing his “homosexuality”.
[or both, if necessary]
He said he would’ve fled to Canada if his ruse failed.
“Lucky for him”, the war ended before his number was called and he didn’t have to resort to either evasive tactic.
I have been on watch for that article ever since those days and have never been able to find it.
I suspect it’s been “erased” from history.
The greatest insult is that he has gotten filthy stinking rich and famous off of the very people he now condemns.
Everything up to and including “The River” were great albums.
Then, he decided he was the ‘official voice of the liberal conscience’ [yes, I know, that’s an oxymoron] and he’s been whining about things he’s never, -ever- experienced, himself.
The last two albums I bought were “Nebraska” and “Tunnel of Love”.
[a Columbia records/buy 1 CD get 10 free with membership deal]
I wouldn’t even accept any of his other albums -free-, now.

I remember when MSNBC re-organized their entire programming around Phil Donahue. Yeah, that's the ticket to greater viewership. As soon as that happened, I tried to save MSNBC a ton of shareholder funds and let them know, that Donahue wouldn't bring in viewers, he had no audience. They didn't listen.
However, if they turned over their primetime to Rush Limbaugh, they'd pound CNN and Fox into the dirt. They won't do that though, ideology trumps profits for the media elite until they run their networks, newspapers and magazines completely into the ground (May that day come soon).
