It’s mostly the cities that vote liberals in. The countryside is much more conservative.
The funny thing about that new arabic school is that it is named after an arabic christian.
Interesting post. The NY voters apparently didn’t do any research, because now Spitzer has a super low rating. NYers didn’t know who the heck they were voting for.
We get the government we deserve.
I voted for John Faso last time, because he is pro-life and against same-sex so-called “marriage,” but I doubt if he’ll run again, but you never know.
Please keep praying.
I totally understand. It's that way here in Oregon. Multnomah County(Portland) overwhelmingly is liberal and therefore we end up with 20+ years of Dem governors.
If the Catholic Hospitals in NY were to close NY State would be in a world of hurt..This is just a power play by that f***n commie governor spits-er to force his demRAT views on the poor sheeple of NY...
SOO glad we moved out of NY many years ago....escaped is more like it...many good people, bad politics..
deception of the infidel?
Don’t forget. There are too many minorities in New York and it is time to get rid of some of them. The ones that can walk around can be relied upon to vote Democratic. It is the unborn ones that may vote differently, so it is better to knock them off now than take a chance. In addition, this serves to eliminate undesirables and to create a race of thoroughbreds. For more details on this, look up Margaret Sanger and her “Negro Project”, Planned Parenthood and Eugenics.
I will! I voted for Faso as well.
“I voted for Faso as well.”
We still have a Faso bumper sticker on our car. I’m tempted to put another sticker above it saying: “Don’t blame me I voted for.............”. :)
I like that! We can never really get a true conservative for governor. Too many liberal candidates or RINO’s. Grrr.
btw, my pro-life state senator told me to also contact my assemblyperson and Gov. Spitzer.
I don’t know what the story is behind naming the school after him.
I have his beautiful book The Prophet.
Here is the wiki entry on him...

I thought the whole principal/”infitada” controversy was pretty amusing considering the guy was not a muslim.
Do you think it’s ok to publicly fund an Arabic school? Will there be only Christian Arabs attending or will it be mostly Moslems who don’t want to assimilate? Gibran was a Christian? Are you sure? The name is a decoy, a trick. Naming the school after Khaddafi would have been too blatant. I really don’t think the protesting is over the name of the school, but that it is publicly funded.
Will there also be subpoenas of all PP clinics, whose so-called counselors sell abortion as the only choice, with nary a mention of alternate choices like adoption or keeping the child. That is deception, pretending they counsel when they have but one end in mind. Tell me how much they care about women.
“Will there also be subpoenas of all PP clinics, whose so-called counselors sell abortion as the only choice, “
Not with Spitzer; he owes PP and NARAL big time.
In fact, regardless that the USSC decided that it had the license to use Jefferson's "wall of separation" from a mere, private letter to help define its scandalous interpretation of the establishment clause in the Everson opinion, the Court "overlooked" in Roe v. Wade that Jefferson had also written that "all men are created equal" in the Declaration of Independence. After all, Jefferson could just as easily have written that all men are born equal. Instead, Jefferson evidently chose to reflect the beliefs of the signers of the DoI that God-given rights start from the moment of conception.
The bottom line is that the people need to wise up to the MAJOR problem of a Supreme Court that is putting special-interest agendas ahead of honest and reasonable interpretations of the Constitution. Bluntly put, the people need to quit sitting on their hands and petition lawmakers, judges and justices who are not upholding their oaths to defend the Constitution, demanding that they resign from their jobs.
I don’t have all the details as to how exactly the school is funded or what the demographics are of the student body.
Gibran was a christian...click on the link.
That is what I find amusing.
There was a bit of an uproar when their first hire for the position of principal said she supported “infitada”.
She was quickly fired and replaced - but she fought it pretty good.
If you ever want a good read, pick up The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran...it is a gem.
