North endorses John McCain: Farrakhan endorses Barrack Obama
The Collins Report ^ | Feb. 25, 2008 | John F. Allen

Posted on 02/25/2008 8:30:12 AM PST by jmaroneps37

Saying John McCain is the only candidate that wants to win the war on terror retired Marine Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North has endorsed the Republican front runner. Col. North, a man who has been to Iraq more times than any politician, warned of the serve consequences of a loss in this battle with those who want to murder Americans.

As an American, a Marine and a most knowledgeable observer, North has stepped forward to support the safety of America. He recognizes the danger we are in and the best course of action to win out over terrorists. He is a conservative who sees national security as the central issue of the election.

Given the chance, the Islamist terrorists would capture and torture Oliver North to death, even before they would turn to us.

By contrast, Nation of Islam’s Louis Farrakhan has endorsed Barrack Obama.

Should the same terrorists ever gain control of America they would recognize “Brother Farrakhan” as a hero.

Farrakhan’s endorsement came during a speech in which he favorably compared Barrack Obama to the founder of the Nation of Islam.

Farrakhan has called Jews and other Americans bloodsuckers, but he is more widely noted for calling Jedaism a “gutter religion.”

Minister Farrakhan lauded Barrack Obama as a young man that will change America and make America better.

The NOI is known for recruiting from inside the worst prisons in America and elsewhere. Richard Reid and Malcolm X come to mind.

The United States Marine Corps recruits patriotic Americans, some who fight and die for our freedoms and some who are awarded Medals of Honor.

Those who hate John McCain enough to join Farrakhan in supporting Barrack Obama by voting for him or staying home to help me win, will have to reconcile these few basic facts for themselves.

We AREN'T going to win any wars when McCain abolishes waterboarding, closes Gitmo and brings terrorists into our court system and gives them lawyers.

These are ALL things RINO McCain has demonstrated his views on in the past.

You think Hillary wants to be the first woman president to lose a war?

Lets hang the next 4 failed years on the rats. The outcome will be the same with McCain anyhow.

Ollie North knows more about the danger we are in than almost anybody.

Yep. And OsamaObama would cuddle up to our enemies. Horrible as Hillary is, she's probably not that stupid. Obama scares me even more than she does.....

Bravo Sierra. your thinking is not rational.

Obama would cause irreversible damage.

this is reality , not a game ! decide which side you are on, Obama/farrakahn or McCain/North

If you are not with us you are against us and taking sides with a dangerous enemy.

"His endorsement will come back and bite Ollie in the ass someday. After McCain gets in office, there's going to be a LOT of folks who'll wish they never endorsed this RINO. We can blame them too when the illegals get amnesty, waterboarding is abolished, and enemy combatants are in our courts with lawyers we pay for.. "

Bravo Sierra ,

It is time for the mcCain haters to put down the poison cool-aid, come back from the ledge of self destruction and start thinking rationally.

Consider the list of McCain supporters, could they all be wrong ?.... but only a small minority of suicidal "anti-RINO" idealists are correct ?

It's things McCain has already said or tried to do. What's irrational is expecting McCain to to ever stop crossing the isle or kissing democRAT ass.

There's no way I'll be voting for Obama, but if Hillary makes it, I'll be voting for her before I vote for a RINO. (for the aforementioned reasons)

What message does it send to other RINOs when we put RINO McCain on our ticket as a candidate for president?

It is very important to note that Barack Obama’s pastor at Trinity United Church, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, is good friends with Farrakhan and this addition “support” by Calypso Louie can spell the end of the Obama campaign if he does not immediately repudiate this man and his hate.

totally illogical.Random points out of context, no connection to the point of Obama vs McCain as POTUS.

why is this decision so difficult, its like trying to explain to a finisher why to not pour a nine inch slump

maybe this will help..... obama on defense

In the recent history of the world there have been thousands of churches (even more thousands of mosques) that have operated as cutouts for radical political causes.

In the 1950s, when the KGB finally realized it could never finish off the Russian Orthodox Church, it shifted tactics and sent hundreds of young agents to divinity school and eventually elevated one of those agents to the highest ranking place in the church’s delegation to Canterbury.

In the 1960s in America, numerous Catholic and Unitarian churches operated as cutout anti-war entities—perhaps you remember or have heard of the Berrigan’s, Catholic priests who led anti-Vietnam protests and confrontations—??

Co-opting churches is a time-tested tactic of the far left, not much different than the way they have colonized other grand institutions, the news media, campuses, Hollywood, etc. The far left will ALWAYS use the cover of churches, the veil of religion, and eventually assert the authority of God as their own.

Yes I know that has been done before. That is why his affiliation with that church bothers me so much.
People are going crazy over someone they really don’t know.

Exactly. The American people have never understood much about communism, how it insinuates itself into every avenue of a culture and how it then operates to erode all the mechanisms that would block its rise. It seems apparent that most people will only “learn” these things first-hand, and starting next January they will begin to experience what they have been too lazy to bother with all these years. For four years it looks like we’re doomed to have a Marxist, black separatist, pro-al Qaeda president. If we’re lucky, we’ll get one last shot at stopping and reversing this in the 2010/2012 cycle through our incredibly dysfunctional electoral process. After that, well, we might be reduced to joining the partisans in the foothills.

Remember how quickly the twin towers came down once the collapse started. It all comes down a lot faster than it goes up. And like Rush Limbaugh likes to say, sheer ignorance is our biggest enemy. Right now, ignorance just flat out reigns supreme. Nobody trades on it better than Marxists.

His talk about taxing the rich is nutty too. since he is one of them. He can donate money to irs anytime he wants if he thinks he is not paying enough taxes
Or donate to his favorite charity.
Instead of letting others decide where they want thier money to go. He wants to do it for them
Buffet and Gates both give lavishly to thier favorite charities. And Bama wants to decide for them where money should go and how much
Dont count Mccain out. A lot can happen between now and November !

I see McCain getting trounced. Obama has him pinned in on almost every issue because it’s too easy to simply point out that on immigration, tax cuts, global warming, campaign finance, judicial appointments, Gitmo, water boarding, McCain has spent more time advocating Dem positions than Republican (much less conservative) positions. He even shot his mouth off in opposition to the overseas eavesdropping program back in 2006, before he decided to again become a “hawk” in the WOT.

The one issue McCain might “own” is Iraq but there isn’t much hay to be made on that. Like it or not, the American people are lukewarm at best about our presence there.

And, if McCain somehow wins I don’t know it is that much better. It will kill the conservative cause inside the Republican party for decades. Coming off the losses in 2006, especially the three for-real conservative senators unseated, the lesson will be that Republicans can win running as liberals.

But I don’t think he can win. To beat the radical left you have to FIGHT them, not pussyfoot around. You have to fight them on every issue and for every inch of turf. McCain has very little foothold and not much bark much less bite. We are looking at Bob Dole, the Sequel.

I think McCain is smarter then you think. By not allowing smear campaigns on his side.
He will put Obama in a corner when those liberal groups from move on. org come out with their 20 million spending spree ads.

Well, I’ve despised McCain for years. What he did the other day was typical. He mumbles like a little boy about how “disappointed” he is when libs attack and keeps his powder dry for attacking conservatives with F bombs and such. Let’s not argue about that guy. You want him, you got him, good luck.

On the other matter, I did happen to talk to someone (who studies religion and churches) about that Wright church Obama attends and my friend said she did not think it was actually a Christian church because there is very little reference to Jesus Christ in its literature and such, with most references being to “God.” In the black community, this is a distinction that apparently can indicate a relationship with the Nation of Islam. (I’m paraphrasing a longer-winded explanation here, I admit.)

Anyway, I think you’re on to something. They refer to themselves as “Christian” but without much specific reference to- or apparent belief in Jesus.
