It looks like the senior pastor at Obama's home church is retiring after 36 years at Trinity United Church of Christ. Perhaps they are replacing him in anticipation of an Obama presidency with someone less controversial. Hmmm...just musing...

Wright had to go. He was just too radioactive.

He was a a club the Republicans could beat Obama to death with.

Now he’s gone and the 20 year relationship in which he was a mentor and adviser to Obama are gone with him.

Probably, I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to Ross Perot. We do see that it's okay if the people of that church say "our" people and then add lies on the end to the statement.

In 1965, I was working for Honeywell EDP as a systems support rep in the Boston Sales Branch. Reverend Ike was a customer. He had leased one of the very first Honeywell 200 computers - - a big deal at the time and super expensive.

He had a room full of women opening envelopes stuffed with so much cash and so many checks that he needed a mainframe computer to keep track of it all.

The women were closely watched by armed guards. His staff watched the guards and the Reverend watched everybody.

Met him several times. Until I saw "Mr T.," Reverend Ike held the record for the most gold on a human being.
