The airwaves have been filled today with the clip of an angry Hillary saying "shame on you, Barack Obama," and another of Clinton mocking the notion that, to believe Barack, "celestial choirs will be singing."
But on this evening's Hardball, Chris Matthews unearthed yet another clip of Hillary at her harshest. And after playing it, a butter-wouldn't-melt-in-his-mouth Matthews ripped the Clinton campaign strategy. Words don't do justice to the fingernails-on-blackboard tone, but here's what a raspy-voiced Hillary said in the video Matthews played.
HILLARY CLINTON: Quit misleading people about what I do. [Ed.: shades of Bob Dole's unsuccessful line to George H.W in 1988: "stop lying about my record.'] Quit telling people what is not true about my plan. You know, come on: enough is enough! Let's get real here, and compare exactly what both of us stand for!

Doesn’t Hillary think people will notice how she was “honored” to be with Obama last week, and now she’s saying “shame on you”. Who can keep up with her desperate mood swings....

How can she POSSIBLY think this will help her? Really. I mean, she’s surrounded by supposedly the shrewdest consultants in the biz, raking in millions of dollars from her campaign. How can they let her go out and do this?
She’s losing her voice and sounds bad. Other than that, typical Hillary. Everybody man that’s been divorced will swear she’s just like his first wife.
You really do have to wonder. Wouldn’t it be malpractice for a consultant to let her go out there and do that??

Actually, the strangest thing is not her voice but her skin color.

Matthews warns Hillary that it’s always ‘Dangerous Not to Be Aware How It Sounds on Television’, but mushmouth Matthews precedes that warning with something like:
“We’rebacwitherountabeformvthapoltixoI’mgungotoSusanPagefor moron tha-att.”
Go back and try to listen to him, if you can stand it... No “professional” mumbles faster.
I didn’t think it was that screechy. She does, however, come across as someone who is completely insincere, filled with phoney, manufactured outrage. She is utterly unappealing and unattractive. Her circle of yes-persons must spend all their time telling her how she’s really scoring against Osama with her tirades. Meantime, ordinary America reaches for the remote.
Don’t stop worrying about tomorrow ... a lil takeoff on Bill’s ‘92 campaign theme. It just breaks my heart to see Team Clinton tanking like this.
As much as BHO in the WHite House scares me, the return of the Clintons, Blumenthal, Begala, Wolfson, Williams, et al literally makes my skin crawl.
