Hi, again, jaycee, hope your computer is behaving today. I’ve had little problems with FR lately - not all the time, but just sometimes when I make a comment and click on “post”, I get a strange “proxy” message. Have learned to hold on to the message now and check the thread or “my comments” to see if it did post anyway before checking “post” again.

I never had a sheltie but fell in love with one on my honeymoon & said if I ever had a dog that is what i wanted.
Bob & I had a few weeks in Ontario.. up in the Muskoka lakes area .. one of the areas we had a huge aframe (like 6 bedrooms) to ourself.
another family in another of the rentals had a sheltie & I love the way it played & hopped like a kangaroo..
keep yourself open to another stray/rescue.. It might not be a sheltie but it will give you love & you will help provide comfort to a pet in need.
Yes, it is hard when they die.. as hard as that is, I worry perhaps more about if I die first... what would become of them(yes I do have arrangemetns but...)
oh Dita.. how I WOULD LOVE to be there.. mom or not! she never was much of a traveler.. has always just liked her nest here. that is why I am trying hard to let her have her last breath in her home that she & dad built in the 60s

It is precious beyond words to see their little beaks sticking up from the nest. Very early this morning at Dawn when I looked, the tips of their beaks were touching...awwww.....
