For the second time in as many days, Sen. John McCain was forced to rebuke members of his own party for over-the-top attacks on Democratic rival, Sen. Barack Obama.

“McCain has to be senile. He thinks he’s carving out some bipartisan legislation, something like the McCain-Obama Screw the Conservatives bill. Someone needs to FORCE him to understand that he is running for president and only one person can win and the other person will lose and there will not ever ever ever be any consensus across the aisle, just a winner and a loser, and, most assuredly, he will be the loser.”

I have always been convinced McCain sufferred irreversable brain damage as a POW.

The jack*sses in the RNC have no excuse other than being traitors to the American Republic.

The Convention should break open and vote for a rational leader who believes in the Constitution and God.

His glorious history aside-—and it needs to be saved from the future he’s stepping into here-—McCain is now a befuddled old dog who still knows how to bark (back the war and oppose Islamic extremism) but may not know how to bite or whom to bite. He needs to retire while he is still respected, or by November he is going to go down in history as a loser, a fool, and a hypocrite.
Sorry to say it, but there it is, and it’s horribly obvious.

John McCain is courteous apparently to everyone but the conservatives that he needs to win this election. - Nose. Cut Off. Spite Face. Just a few more lambastings of conservatives at the drop of a hat from this guy is going to assure that I’ll just decide to stay home on election day. . and it has taken a lot to make me be contemplating that inaction.

The Arizona Senator also noted yesterday that he is worried that outside groups like 527s, which he has no control over, may put up ads or use rhetoric that he does not support during the general election.

NOTHING bothers John McCain more than the fear that someone, somewhere might be allowed to say something he disapproves of. This is a man who hates freedom at his very core.

Hello,

When has it been an liability to speak a man’s own NAME?

Dear Lord, have we sunk so low into PC that mentioning a man’s own NAME is considered classless?

Here’s classless for you: get a grip. Find a place that you will consider not crude. I plan to spend this election cycle and the rest of my life in a wonderful (but scary) place called reality.

Good catch. Unfortunately, it is no longer difficult to believe that that judgmental, biased wording came from Fox News.

Senator McCain has class. People with class seldom to never resort to crude insults, labels or ad hominems as debating techniques.

Who? Mr. Pottymouth? The names and behavior he has displayed just towards his "colleagues" in the Senate seems to contradict your statement. He is as crude and ill-tempered as they come. If thats class, I want nothing to do with it.

Unfortunately, he is the best of the remaining three options. His strategy is to remain on substance, and to distance himself from smears- to appear to be the trusted adult, who has the experience and gravitas to lead, the very opposite of his opponent. Childish taunts about Obama's middle name do not fit into that image.

There are much bigger embarrassments for Obama than his Kenyan suit.

By throwing out relatively trivial plastic darts, the Republicans are following in the path of Hillary, who has been completely ineffective, and fast becoming a laughingstock.

How about some questions over why he chooses Jeremiah Wright, glorifier of racists like Farrakhan, to be his close, "spiritual mentor"? (Obama's words for this sorry America-hater).

I think you could be correct. McCain, however, has to learn the right way to “distance himself” if that’s what he thinks he needs to do. In this case, McCain had nothing to do with the ads put out by the Tennessee GOP and nobody claimed he did. So why didn’t he just keep his stinking mouth shut? If he was asked about them he could simply reply that he hasn’t seen the ads but he personally does not intend to run his campaign in anything other than a respectful manner. Something like that. whatever...

Instead, it looks like McCain goes out of his way to spank conservatives and (gasp!) partisan Republicans at every opportunity. I am liking McCain less and less, and I didn’t think that was possible.

Wow, McCain is known to unleash some largescale , foul mouthed attacks on those who disagree with him.

Just ask many of the conservatives in Congress. Are you speaking of the same McCain that everyone else is?

The GOP gets exactly what it deserves with McCain.

Most likely it will be defeat.

McCain's comments

He called Mr. Obama a “man of integrity” and said he was someone he had come to know “pretty well and I admire.”

He also said that it was not appropriate to invoke Mr. Obama’s middle name in the course of the campaign. “I absolutely repudiate such comments,” he said. “It will never happen again.”

When has common courtesy become a liability?

When did negative ads ever fail?

McCain has apparently already forgotten that in a speech just last week Barack Hussein Obama was sprinkling criticisms of McCain with subtle references to "old". Those references were not accidental. If this moron McCain thinks Obama and the rats are going to play footsy with him, then that's just another reason to wonder whether McCain has the right stuff to be Commander-in-Chief.

McCain is making me sick to my stomach.

You have GOT to be kidding.
Never heard of his screaming, foul mouthed, invective laced, profanities hurled at his GOP co members on the Senate floor?

The man is CRUDE!

Oh come on!!! Was McCain showing class when he repeatedly lied about Romney saying he wanted "timetables" to withdraw from Iraq?

Was he?
