Radicals never say sorry

This excerpt from William Ayers' memoir appeared in the New York Times on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001 -- a few hours before Al Qaeda terrorists crashed hijacked planes into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Ayers, once a leader in the Weather Underground -- the group that declared "war" on the U.S. government in 1970 -- told the Times, "I don't regret setting bombs" and "I feel we didn't do enough."
Ayers recently reappeared in the news because Politico.com reported Friday that Barack Obama has loose ties to him. Ayers, now a professor of education at the University of Illinois at Chicago, is apparently a left-wing institution in Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood, and Obama visited Ayers' home as a rite of passage when launching his political career in the mid-1990s. The two also served on the board of the charitable Woods Fund of Chicago, which gave money to Northwestern University Law School's Children and Family Justice Center, where Ayers' wife (and former Weather Underground compatriot) Bernardine Dohrn is the director.

PBS and college campuses still celebrate the liberal terrorists of the 1960d and 1970s like the SLA, Weather Underground, Yippie Revolt in Chicago 1968, and Black Panther violence.
One of the reasons most of the radicals of the left, those who now are euphemistically called “liberals”, are and were never punished is, in a way, because their incredible string of wrongness and failure is punishment itself.
They are raised and indoctrinated into lives of agonized self hatred, misery and guilt, and exhibit a pitiful mask of superiority complexes to conceal their terrible inferiority complexes.
This is why they insist that Republican presidents are subhuman fools. Because to admit that leftists are inferior would break their fragile egos like glass. It would, as well, expose the glaring failure of their philosophy in all times and all places.
In her book, Treason: Liberal Treachery from the Cold War to the War on Terrorism, Ann Coulter examined just a small sliver of leftist failure. But in truth, it reaches far back in time, to the very beginnings of America, and even before, to Britain and Europe.
In truth, Britain is the pathetic wreck it is today because its upper classes, its “conservatives”, were almost wiped out in World War I and II. Those that survived were so politically overwhelmed by the leftists that even today, conservatism is just a shadow of its former self. The effect was the same as if every person in Britain over the height of 5 feet had been killed, creating generations of short people.
If you trace the left in American history, you start to divine the ugly truth. They were always the bitter people, the haters, the oppressors, and always possessed with a terrible envy and desire to tear down those “who had won life’s lottery”, to quote Al Gore.
They were the defenders of slavery, the proto-socialists who admired slavery as an “institution” that would elevate them above someone, anyone, so that they could at least feel superior to slaves. They rioted against the military draft in the Civil War, and those who proclaimed themselves “Copperheads” in support of the Confederacy against the Union. Much like Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi today.
They were the terrible xenophobes, who repeatedly cried for the extermination of the Native American Indian “savages”, from the safety of the eastern cities. Who joined organizations like the Ku Klux Klan.
Always hating and fearing the military, between wars they would gut it, leaving America relatively defenseless.
Their pattern was well established as America entered the 20th Century, and the left began to glorify and embrace the most evil of tyrants it could find. Beloved Marx and Lenin, glorious Stalin. Even Poncho Villa, who had killed Americans, was seen by the left as a noble hero.
They first embraced Hitler’s National Socialism, then rejected Hitler, then embraced him again as he signed a pact with Stalin, then despised him again, after he broke it, without blinking an eye.

Many of the left, openly communist, actively solicited jobs in the US government, with clear intent to subvert and destroy the democratic United States. Utterly devoid of loyalty to America, even today, the left still sees their being kicked out of a government they were trying to destroy, as “persecution”. This from people who ignored or even rationalized Soviet gulags and the murder of millions.
There were no murderous communist revolutions in the world, only “agrarian reformers” fighting against an “unfair system.” And when such “reformers” blithely murdered thousands of people, the US left refused the slightest criticism, and moved on to the next nation and its “agrarian reformers.”
Were the devil himself, or a proxy, to openly run for office, they would fully support him, as long as he promised destruction and suffering in abundance.
So while they are despicable, America has almost always transcended them, and by doing so, destroyed their hateful dreams. Their beloved tyrants die faster than they can be replaced. Their “Internationale”, forgotten by all but the few die hards. Their social experiments discarded by a public that wants efficiency, not idealism.
They are losers. They lost then, and they lose now. Their hopes and dreams are damned. While the worst of them should be punished for their treachery and deceit, the vast majority punish themselves every day of their unhappy lives.
The one I read was "Obama's Alinsky Jujitsu", By Kyle-Anne Shiver, from January 8, 2008. Excellent piece - pure reporting and leaves you to draw your own conclusions.
To me it was evident that Obama cut his teeth as a socialist/communist activist organizer under the tutelage of Alinsky trained organizers. He is ruthless - but hides it beautifully, and - he's slicker than snot!
